Assam Don Bosco University, established in 2008 in Guwahati, is North East India's first private Catholic university, accredited with an “A” grade by NAAC. Run by the Salesians of Don Bosco, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in diverse fields including Technology, Management, Humanities, and Life Sciences, along with distance learning options.
Assam Don Bosco University values holistic education for its students for both professional success and moral integrity. The ADBU Campus Ministry extends these experiences beyond academics, as it intentionally promotes spirituality, personality in development, counseling, and career development.
