2014-The Bombay College of Pharmacy received Best Industry linked institute award from AICTE-CII cell.The Cash prize of Rs50000/- Certificate & trophy was received in person by Principal Dr.M.N.Saraf in the hands of KapilSibal. The College had applied for this award and the application procedure and inspection was coordinated by Dr Krishnapriya & Dr VA Shirsat in guidance of Principal Dr. M. N. Saraf.
Dr. Evans Coutinho collaborated with Prof. Dr. Holger Gohlke, HeinrichHeine-Universität Düsseldorf, Institut für Pharmazeutische und Medizinische Chemie, Universitätsstr, Düsseldorf, Germany for “Computational Studies on Drug Resistant Mutations, Benchmarking MM-PB/GB-SA parameters for cyclodextrin-drug complexes and Computer simulations for understanding structure, function and dynamics of ciliary Fibrillar Associated Proteins“. ? Dr. Krishnapriya Mohanraj collaborated with Dr. Stephen Barton, CourseDirector for M. Sc. in Analytical Chemistry and M. Sc. in Pharmaceutical Analysis, School of Pharmacy and Chemistry, Kingston University, United Kingdom, for the project “Spectral characterization of sulfated betacyclodextrin and its application in chiral capillary electrophoresis”.
Overall: The college offers a total of 7 programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Bombay College of Pharmacy course list consists of two UG and five PG programmes. The institute provides B.Pharma, B.Pharma Lateral Entry, M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis, M.Pharma Pharmaceutics, M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Chemistry, M.Pharma Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry, M.Pharma Pharmacology and Toxicology courses. Placement: The Bombay College of Pharmacy placement cell serves as a link between students and the corporate organisations. Infrastructure: The college has a large number of facilities for its students. The facilities available at the campus provide a comfortable environment for students. Bombay College of Pharmacy facilities include a library, separate boys and girls hostels, cafeteria, modern classrooms, auditorium, seminar halls, etc. Class rooms, seminar halls, canteens, labs, instrument rooms, machine rooms, administrative offices, IPA and IPA-MSB offices, and other facilities are available ay Bombay College of Pharmacy. The property also includes a medical centre. Modern IT infrastructure is included in the BCP Mumbai facilities list.
Faculty: The faculty members are good and students are fond of them. They are dedicated towards their work. They sometimes even teach with the help of digital platform like PPTs . They have been also doing research in various fields.
Hostel: Hostel of Bombay College of Pharmacy have very good facilities and they are providing good food, everyday in week they are providing different foods. Hostel is provided with 24 hours security and electricty.
Overall: Best college for studying pharmacy. Staffs are very cooperative. Faculties are highly qualified and well educated professionals. College rank is 52 in Nirf.
Placement: For B.pharm graduates 2.5lpa to 5 Lpa For M.pharm graduates 4 Lpa to 6 Lpa. For Phd graduates 8 Lpa to 12 Lpa Best placements are available. Premlata ambre mam is the placement incharge.
Infrastructure: Campus is so big that it have 2 playground and all the classrooms have Ac's. There is Gymkhana at the backside of the campus. Badminton court is available.
Faculty: The qualification of all the facilities is Phd. Graduates from best universities. All staff speaks only in English language. Staffs way of teaching is best.
