An ideal candidate for Calcutta Business School admission to PGDM must hold a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent from an institution recognised by the UGC or Association of Indian Universities, with a minimum of 50% overall in any discipline. After higher secondary schooling under the 10+2 system or an equivalent has been completed, the candidate must have completed a minimum of three years of education to earn a bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Calcutta Business School campus is on the outskirts of Kolkata city, just 7 KM away from the IIM Kolkata. The Calcutta Business School campus is 15 acres big and holds the B-school’s all major buildings, including the classrooms, library, office, and more. The college campus's surrounding area has greenery and a good atmosphere for studies. Below we have provided the CBS Kolkata facilities:

Library: The Calcutta Business School library building offers a total of 31 journals, 21,500 ebooks, 100 video courses, 426 web courses, 34 DTH channels, access to the Shodhganga platform for research scholars, Open Access Thesis & Dissertation (OATD), access to EBSCO Database, Sage Publication Database, and more. The library building is on the Kolkata campus and is accessible using the college’s eLibrary initiative. 

Classrooms & Labs: There are eight classrooms with 60 seats each. All classrooms have central air conditioning, plush seating, and seating capacities to accommodate different lecture, discussion, and seminar requirements. The language and computer labs have everything needed to meet the needs of the students for a better educational experience.

Hostel Facility & Dining Hall: The PGDM students' dorm is across from the administrative building and is roomy and equipped with all the necessities. 120 students can currently stay in the hostel. Each student has their own room on a separate floor for boys and girls, and there is also a common area for gathering and studying. For the convenience of the students, the hostel has CCTV surveillance, a warden, a doctor, and other amenities. All residential students are served breakfast, lunch, tea, and dinner in the spacious dining hall on the ground floor of the dorm. The dining facility is also available to day students for lunch and breakfast.

Recreational Facilities: On-campus recreation facilities include both indoor and outdoor games. Along with indoor games like table tennis and carrom, there are also basketball courts, badminton courts, combined fields for cricket and football, and billiards and cricket. Students can use the well-equipped gym at any time, and a certified instructor who lives on campus is available.

Bus Facility For Students & Staff: CBS offers day students and staff transportation from Tollygunge Metro Station to CBS Campus for a small fee. The campus has a self-contained power generation system with full power backup, solar lighting, accessible restrooms, and a ramp.
