Does CIEM offer placements?

Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management placements are offered to final-year students on the basis of interviews. Every year, the college invites different recruitment agencies to come to the campus during the placement drives. Companies extend job offers to eligible students here. The placement rate here is almost 80% and students get lucrative annual packages. Some of the students get multiple offers.

How to apply for CIEM courses?

The Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management application process is entirely an online process. Students have to visit the official website of CIEM in order to apply for admission. Candidates have to fill out the online application form with the necessary details and attach the required documents. Then students have to pay the application fees online. After the submission of the form, students have to wait for the college to publish merit lists.

Which facilities are offered by CIEM?

CIEM campus offers multiple facilities to the students. CIEM facilities include sports facilities, a library, a cafeteria, modern labs, an alumni association, free Wi-Fi, medical facilities and so on. What is the fees of CIEM Kolkata?

CIEM courses have a low fee structure. The CIEM fees for B.Tech ranges between Rs 71,000 - 1,03,666 approx. per annum. All the B.Tech specialisations have similar fee structures. The fee for MBA is Rs 1,90,000 approx. per annum. The students need to pay the fees before the semester starts.

Is CIEM good for UG courses?

The Calcutta Institute of Engineering and Management is equally good for UG and PG programmes. The CIEM UG courses include BBA, BCA, B.Tech, B.Sc. There are many specialisations of B.Tech such as civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and communication engineering and so on. Lateral entry to some of these courses is also allowed. However, the academic records of UG students are really good.

The placement rate in CIEM is around 80%. CIEM is a reputed college in Kolkata offering engineering and management programmes. It is approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
