KCE Coimbatore Campus Facilities - Hostel Fees, Infrastructure, Address

HOSTEL

Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls in the campus provide comfortable accommodation. Vegetarian food is served in the Hostel. Buffet system is followed in the mess. It can accommodate 531 rooms with 2500 boys and 370 rooms 1500 Girl students. Each student will be provided with a cot, table, chair and cupboard. The institution will provide only VEGETARIAN FOOD. Facilities like Wi-Fi, Library and Reading room and Medical Facilities are available for the convenience of the students staying in the hostel. The hostel shall be under the control of the Chief Warden.(Principal). Two Deputy Wardens for each hostel will take care of their respective hostel.

LIBRARY

Central library has 73,232 volumes (26,492 titles), 646 National and International journals and magazines., 8798 Back volumes, 3505 CD ROMs, 4566 Project Reports, 12 newspapers, NPTEL, IEEE, DELNET, adds impetus to the thrust for knowledge.

Web-based learning

The Internet is an open information system in which various sources of information, media and materials such as texts, images, video sequences can be linked together in diverse ways to form so-called self-learning environments.

• Institute created Wi-Fi Connectivity powered with 155 mbps lease line enables students to pursue learning initiatives away from the classrooms as well.
• Central internet facility available to promote and motivate students to self-learning.
• Online video lectures are available through NPTEL, DELNET, and Webinar etc.

BANKING

Lakshmi Vilas Bank extension counter is available with ATM facility which can be used by Staff & Students.

CAFETERIA

A Canteen functions inside the campus. Both Vegetarian and Non-Vegetarian food are provided in the canteen. Different menus are followed everyday to the taste of the Faculty and Students.

SPORTS

The Department is well equipped with outdoor and indoor games facilities.

Outdoor Games

Extensive facilities are provided for sports and games for the students with an area of leveled 6 acres.

Indoor Games

In addition to the above, an indoor stadium has been constructed with an area of 12,000 sq. feet. The following play field facilities are available in the indoor stadium.
