KMC Mangalore Campus: Address, Hostel Fees, Facilities, Infrastructure

Kasturba Medical College is spread in the sprawling area of 31 acres. The college is located in Mangalore, Karnataka. The college has an impressive infrastructure. The college consists of seven big air-conditioned lecture halls which are installed with modern audio-visual teaching aids including multi-media projectors, screen, etc for a better understanding of the subjects. In the departments of Anatomy, Physiology, and Biochemistry, there are two lecture halls of capacity 250 each. The Medical Education Unit also conducts various orientation programs for students.

The institute also provides Simulation and Cardiology Labs, which provide an opportunity to learn professional skills on training manikins. More than 100 trainers are available to train undergraduate and postgraduate students in Medical, dental and allied health fields.

The college also provides hostel facilities for boys and girls with all the basic amenities. The college central library is well-stocked and is spread over 13,950 sq meters where 1207 students can be accommodated at a time. The library has a high range of databases on the campus network and OPAC related access to its vast collection. There is a separate audio-visual room, computer lab, group study area and private study area in the college library. The library consists of 45,572 text and reference books. The college also has a digital library where 349 both Indian and International journals are subscribed annually.

The hospitals at KMC have the best teaching aids with the best practical knowledge. In addition, the Manipal Academy of higher education has140 international collaborations across the globe and facilitates E-learning as well.
