Activity and achievement of NSS
NSS activities are precisely aimed for community development, such as cleaning, repairing roads, taking part in Polio eradication drive and so on.
In the first three years, ie. the year 2008-09 to 2010-11 NSS had adopted the village of Kaijuri, on the outskirts of Uluberia town. During that time it has been working with two local organization
In addition, NSS worked together with the UNICEF in April-May 2011 for Pulse Polio Eradication Drive in Uluberia subdivision.
Since 2011-12 NSS has adopted the Sijberia slum adjacent to the college and work with primary school ‘Kalpataru Siksha Niketan.’
In 2011-12, Ms. Esa Adhikary was selected as a best NSS Volunteer by the University of Calcutta
