However, the overall weightage of Organic Chemistry Weightage in JEE Mains (full paper) is 3.3% which is equivalent to 1 question asked in the exam. As per previous years trends, the weightage of General Organic Chemistry (GOC) is expected to be 6 to 8%, Hydrocarbons is 5 to 6%, Alcohols, Phenols, and Ethers are 4 to 5%, Aldehydes, Ketones, and Carboxylic Acids is 5-6%.
