Paramedical Course Eligibility Criteria

  • The candidate should be a resident of India.
  • Candidates must have finished 17 years at the latest 31st December of the time of admission.
  • Applicants must have passed Higher Secondary Certificate (Academic) led by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary State Board with science stream.
  • They must be native or domicile of Tamil Nadu
  • The candidates who are local to Tamil Nadu alone will be considered for shared reservation.
  • Prior to filling up the application form, read all the guidelines cautiously.
  • Fill out the application form and examination form clearly and accurately. The data will be processed for shortlisting candidates.
  • The choice for admission to the Cheran foundations for para-medical courses will be based on marks acquired by the qualified candidates in the recommended science subjects in the qualifying assessment to 200 marks.

Counselling (Single Window System)

Admission will be made on a merit basis for all classifications of seats for para-medical courses, through training, adhering to the guidelines of reservation, selection of the candidates and accessibility of seats. Post Graduate Degree M.Pharm/M.Sc. (Nursing) and MPT

  • Bharathiar University offers direct admission to candidates in UG programmes like B.Voc Business Process Services and Data Analysis as well as B.Voc Multi-Media and Animation.
  • To offer admission to candidates in PG courses, Bharathiar University hosts an entrance test based on their marks in their UG Course.

Arrangement of Rank-List for UG Courses:

  • For admission to Under Graduate courses, a candidate must probably pass the Higher Secondary Examinations of Tamil Nadu or an assessment (like the CBSE) recognised by the universities as comparable thereto. Admission ought to be made on the basis of 10+2 marks in particular.

Process for admission to PG courses

  • For admission to postgraduate courses, a candidate must possess 3 years of bachelor's degree (under the 10+2+3 model) recognised by the university or equivalent.
  • On account of Cheran Group of Institutions admission to PG courses in all colleges, the last date for receipt of a filled-in application will be 10 working days from the date of release of the UG results of the other universities.
  • For admission to the MSW course, any degree holder is qualified.
