Hotel Management Vs Travel and Tourism Management: Hotel Management and Travel & Tourism Management are two important pillars of the hospitality industry as it is the service supplier for tourism. However, both are different, as they focus on different niches of the hospitality sector. Students who want to opt for a course in either of these disciplines must note that the key difference between hotel management and travel & tourism management is that, the former includes all operational aspects which comprise restaurants, hotels, country clubs and more. On the other hand, travel and tourism management concentrates on the development of tourism, travel industry management, tourism marketing and other services.

KCET Candidate Login 2024 - KEA has activated the KCET Candidate Login 2024 portal, at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The candidate login of KCET 2024 can be made using the KCET 2024 application number, DOB, and a security question answer. Candidates are required to preserve the login credentials of the KCET application. The candidates must preserve the login credentials up to the seat allotment process, as these are significant for form filling, admit card download, accessing results, registration for counselling, option entry, and seat allotment. In some cases, the KCET login 2024 credentials are needed to upload the required documents for admission.

KCET 2024 OMR Sheet:  As KCET is an offline exam, the candidates will be required to mark answers on the OMR sheet provided at the examination hall. The exam is conducted across sessions and there will be a separate OMR sheet for every session and subject. The KEA releases a sample OMR sheet (specimen copy) a week before the exam so that the candidates can download it and get habituated with the answering procedure. This will enable the KCET 2024 candidates to mark answers on the OMR sheet without committing errors. The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is in charge of conducting the KCET exam 2024. The KCET 2024 entrance exam will be conducted as a pen-and-paper test. KCET Answer Key 2024 Unofficial: KEA is conducting the Karnataka Common Entrance Test on April 18 and 19. While Biology and Mathematics exams are being conducted on Day 1 (April 18), Physics & Chemistry exams will take place on April 19. Each subject of the KCET exam 2024 consists of 60 questions for 60 marks. The total marks weightage of the KCET exam is 180. The 2nd PUC marks of Karnataka will have 50% weightage in KCET. Expected Rank for 165 to 175 Marks in KCET 2024: Candidates who obtain 165 to 175 marks in KCET 2024 can check out the expected rank here. The expected rank has been provided based on the previous year’s analysis, however, the same rank might or might not replicate when the official rank 2024 is released, as it will be based on the candidate’s KCET raw score, and their marks in the 2nd PUC examination. Furthermore, the difficulty level of the paper and the score obtained by the applicant will also be considered while calculating the expected rank for each score range. Generally, the difficulty level of the paper has been average more or less over the years, and hence based on this, the expected rank for 165 to 175 marks in KCET 2024 can be between 1 to 4,800 rank.

The last date to edit/make corrections in the duly submitted application forms was February 9, 2024.
