CVR College of Engineering Popular Courses and Details

The B.Tech and M.Tech are the most popular courses offered by the CVR College of Engineering. The various details about each course are given below for the reference of aspiring students. 

B.Tech

The Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) course at the college is one of the most popular course. It is offered at the undergraduate level and is approved by the AICTE as well as accredited by the NAAC. B.Tech is offered for a duration of 4 years and in 10 specializations. Some of the popular specialisations are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML), and, Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science) among others. The CVR College of Engineering course admissions for B.Tech are based on the JEE Main and TS EAMCET examinations. The courses have an intake ranging from 60 seats to 420 seats depending on the specialization. The maximum number of seats are available for the Computer Science and Engineering specialization. Moreover, the total fee of the course is Rs 4.06 lakh. Apart from this, B.Tech in Minor Degree is also available in 20 specializations. 

M.Tech

The Master in Technology (M.Tech) course at CVR is offered at the postgraduate level. The duration of the course is 2 years and is approved by the AICTE and accredited by the NAAC. M.Tech is offered in 6 specializations and the CVR College of Engineering Hyderabad fee structure for M.Tech is Rs 1.45 lakh. It has a seat intake ranging from 18 seats to 30 seats. All the other specializations apart from structural engineering have an intake of 18 seats. Some of the popular specializations of M.Tech include Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Power Engineering, and, Structural Engineering among others. For M.Tech admissions, the GATE, GPAT, and, TS PGECET exams are accepted by the CVR College of Engineering. 

CVR College of Engineering Hostel Fees

The college offers separate hostels for boys and girls. The hostels are equipped with all basic amenities like electricity, clean drinking water, wi-fi, security, canteen and mess, medical aid, etc. The hostels have different fees for girls’ and boys’ hostels. CVR College of Engineering Fee Payment Guidelines

The college does not accept cash or cheque transactions. It only accepts online payment by SBI Debit cards, online transfers from any bank, and, other modes of payment via challan. The fee can be paid through SBI Online. The detailed steps for the same are as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of the college which is cvr.ac.in.

Step 2: There would be a link for paying the CVR College of Engineering fee. Click on the link. 

Step 3:   Once the State Bank Collect page opens, click on the check box at the bottom of the page and click on ‘Proceed’.

Step 4: Select “Andhra Pradesh” as the State of  Corporate/Institution and “Educational Institutions” as the Type of Corporate/Institution and click on ‘Go’.

Step 5: Select “CVR College of Engineering” as the Educational Institution's Name and click on ‘Submit’.

Step 6: Now, select the Payment Category for the payment of CVR College of Engineering fees. For the Fees category, the Roll Number box will now appear. Enter the Roll Number and click on ‘Submit’. For other categories, simply click on ‘Submit’.

Step 7:   Fill up the form which will now open, click on ‘Submit’ and proceed. Various payment options, including challan download, will appear when you proceed further. 

Step 8: Once the fee has been paid, take a screenshot of the page and take a printout of the same for future reference.

Note: Students must submit the proof of payment of the CVR College of Engineering fee to the College Office and obtain a fee receipt from the office for future reference.
