Dr. C.V. Raman University is an Institution of higher learning located in Kota, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in India. The university was established by the All-India Society for Electronics and Computer Technology (AISECT) on November 3, 2006. It is the first private university in Chhattisgarh. As an institution of higher learning, Dr. C.V. Raman University Chhattisgarh offers its students financial aid to make education more accessible and inclusive for students of all sections. These CVRU Chhattisgarh scholarships help students in pursuing a field of their interest by providing economic support however possible. There are three specific types of scholarships that students get access to at Dr. C.V. Raman University Chhattisgarh.

1. Scholarship for Underprivileged- This can be availed by students belonging to the SC/ST/OBC communities. For OBC students, they have to have an annual income below Rs 1 Lakh. For SC/STs, the income has to be below Rs 2 lakh for them to be eligible for this scholarship. 

2. Scholarship for Meritorious Students- This scholarship is meant for students who have scored 85% and above in their Class 12 board examinations. The scholarship will be meted out either in bulk or in instalments at the beginning of each semester. There are extra provisions for students from economically backward sections as well. 

3. Scholarship Programme for ME/MTech Students – MHRD grants a sum of Rs 8000 to students who have cleared the GATE examinations to promote postgraduation studies in India. The scholarship aims to help them fund their research and thesis work. 

Apart from these scholarships, the university has also set up a support system that provides students with loan facilities by partnering with banks like the State Bank of India, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, etc. Loan facilities are available for students for up to Rs 4 Lakhs with no processing fees, additional costs, or guarantee documents.

Research Centre – The university has a designated research cell, and a conference hall set up in a separate building. Unified Modeling Language Lab is a software engineering language laboratory that uses model-based software engineering with UML in your StarUML IDE whenever you need it.

Matlab Lab is installed with MATLAB software. It provides a data solution to scientists, enables automatic simulation control, and provides a multi-paradigm numerical computing environment for solving computer-based numerical problems.

DBMS Lab is dedicated to database-related practicals, students can make use of High configuration computer systems installed with software like Oracle Server, and MySQL to execute their database-related projects and assignments.

Java Programming Lab has licensed software under a Microsoft campus agreement and MATLAB with Simulink Performance Tools like Image Processing Tool Box, Neural Network Tool Box, Wavelet Transforms Toolbox, Filter Design Toolbox, and Communication Toolbox.

Residence – Dr. C.V. Raman University Chhattisgarh has provisions for boarding of both girls and boys students who wish to stay close to the university. A fleet of bus services running to and fro from the hostel to the University is also available.
