The eligibility criteria for pursuing a Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) degree at DAV University in India are as follows: Candidates must have a Master's degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks. However, a relaxation of 5% is given to candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled categories. Additionally, applicants must have qualified in a national-level entrance examination such as UGC-NET (including JRF)/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE or have an M.Phil. degree. Eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on their entrance examination scores and academic performance. Finally, candidates will be required to appear for a personal interview or presentation, where their research aptitude and potential will be evaluated.
