Documents Required to Fill KCET Application Form – Image Upload Process, Specifications, Gazetted Officer/ Principal Signature

KCET 2021 application form submission last date has been extended till July 16, and the entrance exam is scheduled to be conducted on August 28 & 29. Eligible and interested candidates will need to fill the application form with all details such as academic, personal, category and stream preference. However, the candidates will need certain documents as a reference to fill the application form for KCET 2021. It is important to know that the applicants are not required to upload any documents with the application form. Each applicant will only have to upload a scanned copy of passport size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression and parent signature. Requirements to Fill KCET 2021 Application Form

Here is the list of basic requirements necessary to fill KCET application form –

  • A valid E-Mail ID
  • Mobile Number
  • Exam City Preference
  • Password (Self-Created)
  • Internet Connection to Apply Online

List of Scanned Images Required to Upload with KCET Application Form 2021

Candidates registering for KCET 2021 will have to be ready with the following scanned images –

  • Recent Passport Size Photograph (Colour)
  • Signature
  • Left-Hand Thumb Impression
  • Parent Signature

Documents Required to Fill KCET 2021 Application Form

Here is the list of documents that are required to fill KCET 2021 application form. These documents should NOT be uploaded while registering for the entrance exam. The candidates should keep these documents as a reference to fill the application form –

Instructions to Upload Scanned Images on KCET Registration Portal

The candidates can scan and edit the images through different Mobile Applications available on Google PlayStore. You can also get these images scanned through an internet centre. Here are the detailed instructions that a candidate must follow to upload the scanned images on the KCET application portal –

Scanned Image of Passport Size Photograph

  • The passport size photograph has to be recent
  • The format to scan and upload the photograph is JPG/ JPEG format
  • The size of the scanned image of the photograph should be less than 100 KB
  • The photograph has to be clear. No spectacles are allowed in the photograph, and the candidates must make a note of it.

Scanned Image of Candidate’s Signature

  • Sign with a black ballpoint pen on an A4 sheet (background of paper should be white in colour)
  • Scan the A4 sheet and go for the image editing option on your mobile or through an internet centre
  • Crop the image and make sure that only the signature part is cropped
  • The size of the signature can be less than 20 KB and the format of the image should be JPEG/ JPG format

Scanned Image of Left-Hand Thumb Impression

  • Through a stamp pad or ink, put your thumb impression on an A4 sheet
  • Scan the A4 sheet and crop the image so that only the thumb impression part is visible (can be done through a mobile app or internet café)
  • The size of the scanned image can be less than 20 KB and the format of the image should be JPG/ JPEG format

Scanned Image of Parent Signature

  • Ask your parent to sign with a black ballpoint pen on an A4 sheet (background of paper should be white in colour)
  • Scan the A4 sheet and go for the image editing option on your mobile or through an internet centre
  • Crop the image and make sure that only the signature part is cropped
  • The size of the signature can be less than 20 KB and the format of the image should be JPEG/ JPG format

Gazetted Officer/ Principal Signature on KCET Application Form 2021

For the year 2021, the Gazetted Office/ Principal Signature is not necessary for the KCET application form.

Once the entire registration process of KCET concludes, the candidates need to take the printout of the filled-in application form. It is mandatory to affix the photograph (same as uploaded on the application portal) on the application form. The candidates will also need to sign on the form and affix the left-hand thumb impression. Once this process is done, the candidates will need to visit his/ her school to get the principal’s signature on the application form. You can also get the signature of a Gazetted Officer if it is not possible to visit your school.

Dates to Submit KCET 2021 Special Category Certificates

Candidates falling under special categories will need to submit the original special category certificate at Bangalore, Belgavi, Kalburgi, Mangalore, Mysore or Davangere. The exact venue for the document submission has been released.
