Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (DPS), Kottayam Admission 2026 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

A candidate who has passed BPharm degree of Mahatma Gandhi University or any other University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent there to from an institution recognized by the AICTE, New Delhi and Pharmacy Council of India, with not less than 60% marks for all the four years of BPharm examination taken together. Relaxation of 5% marks is permitted for SC/ST candidates. All Indian citizens are eligible for admission to the course. Sponsored candidates should have at least one year full time work experience

•  Candidates who have passed the 10+ 2 or equivalent Examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics as optional subjects or any other examination recognized by the Mahatma Gandhi University as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the BPharm course, provided they have secured an aggregate of fifty percent marks in the above subjects. The aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Mathematics will be considered for rank list. In respect to candidates who have taken Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology combination (PCMB), the aggregate of PCM or PCB whichever is higher shall be considered for the purpose of admission. In case of students belonging to scheduled caste, denotified tribe and scheduled tribe, a relaxation of 5% marks will be permitted.
•  Candidates, who have passed DPharm examination approved by the Pharmacy council of India (ER 1991) with not less than 50% marks either in DPharm or in 10 +2 examination, shall also be eligible to this course and shall be admitted to second BPharm course directly.  Candidates who have passed DPharm (ER 1981) are eligible for admission to first BPharm Course
