To get admission to 1st year Diploma in Engineering at Dr. Meghnad Saha Institute of Technology, Haldia, you will have to participate in the JEXPO counselling 2025. Online applications are being accepted till June 10, 2025. To apply, you can register through the official website of the West Bengal State Counselling of Vocational Training, scvtwb.in. Earlier admission was done based on JEXPO scores but since 2024, the entrance exam has been scrapped. So, now admission is strictly merit-based and through the counselling process. You must have passed Madhyamik or Class 10 Equivalent Board Examinations with Science / Physical Science and Mathematics subjects and at least 35% aggregate marks to be eligible for the merit list.
