August 28, 2025GATE 2026 registration is now open at gate2026.iitg.ac.in for admission to M.Tech and research programs. Candidates can submit their applications without a late fee until September 28, 2025, while the deadline with a late fee is October 9, 2025. The examination is scheduled to be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026, in two sessions.
August 25, 2025The GATE 2026 registration has been postponed to August 28, 2025. Regular applications close on September 28, with late submissions accepted until October 9. Exams will be held on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, and results on March 19.
August 07, 2025The TNEA 2025 Round 3 choice filling has started for candidates with ranks between 1,37,711 and 2,39,299 at tneaonline.org. The last day for choice filling is Aug 09, 2025. Tentative allotment will be released on August 10, with confirmation due by August 11.
August 06, 2025The GATE 2026 schedule is now available on gate2026.iitg.ac.in. Registration for GATE 2026 will begin on August 25 and will close on September 25 without a late fee, and on October 6 with a late fee. The exam is scheduled for February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. The results will be announced on March 19, 2026.

Other Communities
- (Communities other than BC/MBC/SC/ST) Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry.

- Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

- Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

- Pass in 12th standard or equivalent with an aggregate of atleast 40% marks in Mathematics, Physics & Chemistry. The candidate should produce the Community Certificate duly signed by the Tahsildar.

NGPIT M.Tech Admission
Candidates for admission to the first semester of the Post-Graduate Degree Programme shall be required to have passed an appropriate Under-Graduate Degree Examination of Anna University as specified under qualification for admission as per the Tamil Nadu Common Admission (TANCA) criteria.
NGPIT MBA Admission
- A pass in any Degree with 10+2+3/4 years pattern (or)
- A pass in any Degree with 10+3 (Diploma) +3 year pattern
Candidates who have already passed the above qualifying degree course and those who have appeared for the final semester/year examination of the said qualifying degree course during April / May 2018 may apply for MBA Common Entrance Test, for admission to M.B.A. degree.
NGPIT PhD Admission
The applicant must have a master's degree in engineering the relevant course
