The exam procedure consists of GPT (General Proficiency Test ), DAT (Design Aptitude Test), MAT (Media Aptitude Test -for particular courses), as well as a PI (Personal Interview), all conducted online. For UCEED 2026 exam, IIT Bombay has updated the list of six participating institutes, offering around 225 seats collectively. Admission will be based solely on the UCEED 2026 merit list, while other design entrance tests like NID DAT, NIFT, or SEED will not be considered by these institutions. However, result-sharing colleges may accept UCEED scores along with their own criteria, conducting institute-specific counselling instead of participating in the Joint Admission Process.
IIT Guwahati B.Des Placements: The IIT Guwahati has released the 2025 placement reports for all the streams and courses. As per the latest report, out of 56 registered students, 26 students were able to get placements. Similarly, in the past year, the placement record for the B.Des course stood at 71%. CEED 2025 Applications: CEED (General Entrance Examination for Design) 2025 application process starts tomorrow, October 01, 2025, from 12 AM onwards, on the official website, ceed.Iitb.ac.in. This exam is for candidates seeking admission in postgraduate design programs in premier institutes like IITs and IISs. Eligible candidates include those who have completed or are in the final year of a minimum three-year graduate program or GD Arts Diploma. The online application process consists of creating a profile, filling in individual and educational details, uploading a photo and signature, and paying the application fee. The last for registration will be CEED tests, design qualification, visual perception, and problem-solution skills through two parts: Part A (Computer-based) and Part B (Design-based).
