To pursue the M.D. (Doctor of Medicine) degree at Govt Medical College Srinagar, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria. They should have completed their Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized medical college or university. Additionally, candidates must have completed a one-year rotating internship after obtaining their MBBS degree. They should have also qualified the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for postgraduate medical courses. Meeting the minimum qualifying percentile set by the Medical Council of India (MCI) is essential. Admissions are based on the NEET-PG scores and subsequent counseling conducted by the college.
