JENPAS 2026 Registration: The Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical & Allied Sciences Undergraduate (JENPAS UG) 2026, organised by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board, will close its online application process today, on April 18, 2026. The JENPAS UG Exam is an important entrance test for students seeking admission to B.Sc Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT), Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT), and related programs. Candidates who passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology can apply based on the course specifications. Registration, which started on March 24, has already been extended once, with officials previously suggesting that there would be no further extension after today.

The admission process for a BSc Nursing degree at the Himalayan College of Nursing is done based on the regulations published by the Indian Nursing Council. To be eligible for BSc Nursing admission, students must meet the following eligibility requirements.

  • It is mandatory for the aspirants to pass higher secondary education from any recognized board/institution

  • Candidates need to score at least 50% marks in the science stream

  • Physics, Chemistry, and Biology must be the core subjects of candidates at the higher secondary level

  • Some institutes/colleges also mandate NEET marks for admission to BSc Nursing courses

  • The minimum age limit to apply for BSc Nursing admission at the Himalayan College of Nursing is 17 years as of 31st December of the applying year

  • There is no maximum age limit to apply for the BSc nursing admission

Dear student, 

In order to get admission in GNM course at Himalayan College of Nursing (HCN), Dehradun you must have passed your Class 12 examinations with at least 40 per cent marks, which you do. You must also fall under the age of 17 - 35 years. 

The course fee for GNM is INR 42,000 per annum and candidates are selected on the basis of state-level entrance examination and percentage in the qualifying examination. After that, a merit list is displayed and students who make it to the list are then required to attend a personal counselling session. Finally, after passing all of these steps along with medical examinations, candidates are allocated a seat to the GNM course at Himalayan College of Nursing.
