HK Institute of Management Studies & Research Admission 2026 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

HKIMSR offers admission to full-time MMS and PGDM courses. Before applying for admissions at HKIMSR, it is advised to check the eligibility, application and selection process so that you are aware of the process in advance. All details pertaining to HKIMSR admissions can be checked below.

Candidates applying for MMS and PGDM courses at H K Institute of Management Studies & Research must fill in the complete application form to be considered for admission in management courses offered at the H K Institute of Management Studies & Research. The Institute accepts applications in both online and offline mode. 

The Institute releases the application form in the month of April for which the candidate needs to pay an application fee of INR 1000/-. 

Admission in management course at H K Institute of Management Studies & Research is considered on the basis of scorecard of entrance test like CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/MAH-CET or state level aptitude test approved by DTE, Maharashtra.

HKIMSR MMS/ PGDM Eligibility Criteria 2020

Following are the eligibility criteria to apply for admission in MMS and PGDM courses at the H K Institute of Management Studies & Research:

• The candidate must have appeared or passed a Bachelor’s degree programme from a recognised Institute or university.  
• Minimum % in the qualifying examination should be 50%. For reserved categories  (belonging to Maharashtra state only) must have a minimum percentage of 45%. 
• The candidate must have appeared in Aptitude Test MAH-CET/ CMAT conducted by AICTE in the academic year and must have scored a positive non zero mark 
• Candidates appearing in CAT conducted by IIMS / MAT conducted by AIMA/XAT conducted by XLRI/ JMET conducted by IITs /ATMA conducted by AIMS with a positive score are also eligible for admission. 

HKIMSR Selection Process 2020

Merely a valid scorecard of CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/MAH-CET or state level aptitude test approved by DTE, Maharashtra does not confirm the admission of the candidate in the Institute. Candidate's performance in degree-level studies, aptitude test scorecard and performance in GD and PI are considered for admission. Candidates with extra-curricular activities and relevant experience are also considered for admission. 

All applications received by the Institute are scrutinized to check the background of the candidate and those who prove abilities and potential to deliver their best performance in industries in the future are considered for admission in management courses at the institute. 

Shortlisted candidates are called for document verification at the Institute. Check the list of documents that a candidate must carry for document verification:

• Seat allotment letter 
• Scorecard of the Aptitude Test like CMAT/ CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/MAH-CET etc or any other aptitude test approved by the DTE, Maharashtra.
• Class X and XII marksheet
•  Degree certificate
• Nationality certificate 
• Date of Birth Proof 
• Transfer certificate, if applicable 
• Caste certificate, if applicable 
• Scholarship documents, if any
• P.G Registration form
• Passport size photograph
