Dr Tanmoy Chakrabarty Publishes Research on Magnetic Properties - Dr Tanmoy Chakrabarty, Assistant Professor of Physics at SIAS, has published a research article titled *Magnetic and electronic structure studies on S= 1/2 Heisenberg antiferromagnetic alternating spin chain system KCuGa(PO4)2* in the *Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials*. This research explores the low-dimensional magnetic behavior of the novel phosphorus-based cuprate system KCuGa(PO4)2, reporting significant findings on magnetic susceptibility and field-induced magnetic behavior, which contribute to the understanding of quantum phase transitions in dimerized spin systems.

Dr Praveen Bhagawan Presents Research Paper at IIM Calcutta - Dr Praveen Bhagawan, Associate Professor of Finance, Accounting and Quantitative Finance at IFMR GSB, presented a research paper co-authored with Dr Jyoti Prasad Mukhopadhyay and PhD scholar Soumyabrata Basu, titled ‘Creditor Rights and Tax Avoidance: Evidence from Quasi-natural Experiment in India’ at the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC). Following the presentation, he engaged with PhD students at IIMC, providing valuable feedback on their research papers.
