IIIT Kota Hostel Fees 2026
The hostel fee structure for the academic session 2026 includes accommodation charges, mess advance, and one-time admission deposits applicable to newly admitted students. The hostel charges are collected semester-wise and include room rent, electricity, water charges, and mess advance, which is later adjusted against actual mess consumption.
For newly admitted students, the mess advance is Rs 20,000 per semester and is adjusted in the final mess billing when the student vacates the hostel. Students are also required to pay a refundable hostel caution deposit of Rs 7,500 and a one-time non-refundable hostel and mess admission fee of Rs 7,500 during the first semester only.
Additionally, room rent, electricity, and water charges are Rs 18,000 per semester, which includes Rs 12,000 as room rent and Rs 6,000 towards electricity and water usage. Based on these components, the total hostel payment for the odd semester (July to December) is Rs 53,000. For the even semester (January to June), students are required to pay Rs 38,000, as the one-time and refundable deposits are not charged again. These charges apply to newly admitted students and may be revised by the institute according to policy guidelines.
