Indian Institute of Tourism and Travel Management (IITTM) Gwalior, offers the courses in the field of Travel and Tourism Management.It was settled in the year of 1983, in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India.  IITTM is an self - financed institute of the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India. IITTM is one of the well known institutes in the country, which offers training, education, consultancy and research in continual management of travel, tourism and other allied sectors. The mission of the college is 'IITTM is committed to developing quality human resources for tourism and allied services. The target groups of its educational/ training programs extend much beyond the organized sectors of the economy.' The institute is totally dutiful to the quest of higher knowledge in tourism.  IITTM is devoted to providing quality human resources to tourism and allied services. IITTM aims to develop social, managerial and professional excellence and cultural sensitivity. IITTM caters a well stocked modern  and one of its kind library in India on travel and tourism management. The collection in the library consists of books on management, tourism, varied subjects and information technology, conference souvenirs, reports, CD-ROMs and previous volumes of periodicals. IITTM has a Computer Centre, which is equipped with generic soft wares packages.

Overview Placement

The placement activities at IITTM are handheld by a Placement Committee. The placement committee consists of four student representatives from each program. The committee also has one faulty member as a placement officer and academic associates chaired by the Director and  a group of faculty members. The committee provides directions for summer internship and overall supervision as well as final placement of the students.
