Indrashil University Admission 2024
School of Engineering
In the School of Engineering, 50% of the admission seats are allocated through the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses), while the remaining 50% of seats are reserved for University All India/NRI students.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates seeking Indrashil University admission must have successfully completed the 12th Science Examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The minimum percentage of marks required for eligibility is determined by the Government of Gujarat in accordance with the admission regulations.
- The percentage of marks in subjects specified by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) from time to time, as well as in accordance with the ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) norms, will be taken into consideration.
- The candidate should have pursued their education from a School/Centre situated in Gujarat or its associated union territory and should have also appeared in the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test).
School of Sciences
In the School of Sciences, the admission process for all programs is conducted by the university based on merit.
School of Pharmacy
In the School of Pharmacy, 50% of the admission seats are filled through the PCI (Pharmacy Council of India), while the remaining 50% of seats are reserved for University All India/NRI students.
ACPC Admission Process
For admission, candidates must have completed their 12th standard (Science) with a minimum of 45% marks for the Open category (40% for SC/ST/SEBC) in theory or theory and practical combined, in subjects such as Physics and Mathematics, along with Chemistry, Biology, Computer Science, or a Vocational Subject from a single board. Additionally, they should have appeared in the GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test).

Library : The Library at Indrashil University provides students with a well-equipped learning environment, offering a wide range of resources to enhance their educational experience. The library also ensures ample reference and reading materials are accessible to students and faculty from all disciplines. In addition, the library is enhanced with modern digital facilities and computer systems, providing students, faculty, and staff with free access to the repository of resources.
Laboratory facilities : The departments of computer science and engineering, chemical and biochemical engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, bioscience and chemistry possess well-equipped laboratories that house all the essential equipment, instruments, and infrastructure necessary for conducting experiments.
Student Club : Indrashil University firmly believes in nurturing the hidden talents of its students, recognizing that favorable conditions provide a conducive environment for their growth. To cater to their diverse interests, the university has established various clubs that operate under faculty guidance while being independently managed by the student body. These clubs serve as platforms for students to explore their passions and eagerly await their participation in the year-round activities organized by these clubs.
Health Services : Primary medical facilities are accessible around the clock at the IU campus. A skilled and certified medical staff is present during college hours on all working days. Additionally, a registered M.B.B.S. Doctor visits the campus regularly and is available during urgent situations. In the event of a medical emergency requiring hospitalization, a van is available 24/7 for transportation to a nearby hospital. First aid kits, blood pressure apparatus, and other necessary medical equipment are readily available for immediate use in case of any injuries or medical emergencies. Hostel wardens, administrative staff, and the sports room also provide support in such situations. Furthermore, a dedicated sick room is designated for students requiring medical rest.
Hostel : The girls' hostel is situated within the university premises, currently accommodating 200 students, with a projected increase in capacity in the near future. It offers a range of facilities, including a common room, sports facilities, canteen, dining hall, pantry, and a sick room. Moreover, the university also arranges accommodation facilities for boys in the nearby vicinity upon request. Additionally, the university has plans to construct a dedicated hostel with a capacity of over 1000 students in the vicinity of the campus in the near future.
