Jagannath University Registers for 'Coursera for Campus' Programme

Jagannath University, Jaipur, has registered itself with Coursera for its 'Coursera for Campus' programme. With this initiative, the university aims to expand its popularity in online learning as well. Coursera is a worldwide online learning platform that was founded in the year 2012 by Stanford professors. The platform offers massive open online courses (MOOC), specialisations, and degrees.

Coursera works with universities and other organisations to offer online courses and degrees in a variety of subjects, such as engineering, machine learning, data science, mathematics, business, digital marketing, computer science, humanities, medicine, social sciences, biology, and others.

Every learning programme on Coursera is flexible and 100% online. More than 35 million people are already achieving their goals with online courses and degrees from the world's best universities. Through Coursera for Campus, students have the ability to make progress at their own pace with video lectures, readings, quizzes, and more.

Jagannath University is now registered for Coursera for Campus programme. As per this registration, Coursera has offered 20,000 licenses to the university, using which the faculty and students can pursue any number of courses for free from a pool of 3800+ programmes.

Yes, arts students can pursue DMLT courses at the Jagannath University Jaipur. They will just have to meet the eligibility criteria for admission to these courses. The eligibility criteria for admissions to DMLT courses is that students must complete 10+2 with 50% marks from a recognised board. The DMLT course at Jagannath University Jaipur is a two-year program consisting of four semesters. Students will have to pay admission fees of Rs. 60,500 annually for DMLT courses at the university. The university offers DMLT courses in regular mode and the classes will happen offline at the college campus. Further, after completing the course, students can get an average salary of Rs. 3,25,000 per year.
