Jagannath University admission 2025 is open for UG, PG, and diploma programmes. Admission to the university is based on merit and entrance exams. The university conducts its own exam, the JUEE for shortlisting students for admission. Apart from this, Jagannath University also accepts central and state level exams like JEE Main/ REAP for BTech, GATE for MTech, CAT/ MAT for MBA, CUET for UG and PG courses, etc. Candidates can apply for admission in online mode by visiting the official website i.e. jagannathuniversity.org with an application fee of Rs 500. The application form is also available in offline mode.

Students with a good academic record, reserved background or poor financial background are also eligible for the Jagannath University scholarship. Candidates; based on eligibility and merit; are eligible for up to 100% scholarship on tuition fees offered by Jagannath University. After completing the subsequent Jagannath University admission process, final shortlisted candidates will be handed the ‘letter of enrollment’. 

Eligibility for International Students

Foreign students can take direct admission at Jagannath University. Foreign students are allotted with 15% of the total sanctioned intake in each course. These students are admitted on the basis of merit in the qualifying exams. They will not be required to take an entrance test for Jagannath University admission. The fee for foreign students is the same as for Indian students.

Foreign students willing to get admission in PG courses at Jagannath University can directly apply for their desired course. 15% supernumerary seats of the total sanctioned intake in each course are available for foreign students. Further, 5% of the supernumerary seats are reserved for the children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries. The admission of foreign students will be made on merit on the basis of the qualifying examination. They will not be required to appear in the entrance test.
