Overall: Government engineering college is one of the premier government engineering institutions in West Bengal known for its academic accidents and campus environment affiliate with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology

Placement: The training and placement sale of this institution plays a pivotal role in preparing students for corporate roles show workshop mock interviews amplitudin and industry incorrections

Infrastructure: The institution well planned and steadily involving infrastructure that supports holistic education sparred across a sparing campus including modern lecture halls fully equated laboratories and will stop central library

Faculty: The professors at this institution are highly qualified with many holding phd and postgraduate degrees from rebutted national and international institutions bring a wealth of knowledge and practical experience to the classroom

Hostel: The campus has separate hostels for male and female students with each hostel equipped with basic amenities like spacious rooms beds table chairs fans and lighting the hostel environment is clean secure and well maintained fostering a sense of community and discipline among students

Overall: The biggest annual fest in North bengal JECLAT. and technical fest is SRISTI. JECLAT is on April to March and sristi in September to November. Our all classrooms provided Internet. And one seminar room and workshop. Many clubs have in our college those are Sports club, Dance Club, Centre for Innovation etc.

Placement: College placements are moderate even a non-core student can get an average package of 10 LPA. Core branch students get a package of 5 to 10 LPA. There are many packages from different branches but there is not a high package for average students for a flip branch. The packages vary. Placements for a government job are unpredictable but in a government college, the placement is far better than the others. We get many chances from the reputable company.

Infrastructure: In my college Jalpaiguri government engineering college there is a huge campus and I am lucky to have such an adventurous campus life there is many playgrounds at the front side there is our college building administrative building and different side of our different brunches as there is a mechanical engineering department have there own sits and 4 boys hostel and 1 girls hostel.

Faculty: I have read 8 out of 10 the relevant and comprehensive, I chose engineering because from the beginning, I have been interested in the field and dreamed of it. I see major opportunities in the engineering course. I have dreamed of core branches. There are also many private colleges, but in my rank, I got this government college, so I chose it. Our faculty members are very helpful but also harmful to us.

Hostel: My experience with the hostel facility at Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College (JGEC) has been generally positive, offering standard amenities typical of college hostels. Each room is equipped with basic furniture, including a bed, study table, and cupboard, providing a comfortable living space conducive to academic pursuits.The hostel meals vary in quality, ranging from satisfactory to inconsistent. On average, the quality is decent, with about 70% of the meals meeting expectations. However, there are days when the food can be inconsistent, affecting overall satisfaction with the dining experience.The registration process for the hostel follows college protocols, ensuring transparency and fairness in accommodation allocation. Regarding affordability, the hostel fees are reasonable and within budget for most students, offering a convenient living option on campus.For those living off-campus, the locality around JGEC offers convenient amenities within a 1-kilometer radius.

Overall: The curriculum was robust, offering both theoretical knowledge and practical exposure. Professors were approachable, and the availability of resources like libraries and labs was excellent. The campus was well-maintained, with modern classrooms, a large library, and recreational areas. However, some facilities, like the gym, needed more frequent upgrades. There were plenty of student groups and clubs to join, but events sometimes felt repetitive. It was easy to make friends, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming.

Placement: The college provided a variety of placement opportunities across industries, including IT, finance, marketing, and engineering. However, opportunities in niche or emerging fields were limited.

Infrastructure: The classrooms and lecture halls were well-equipped with modern technology like projectors, smart boards, and comfortable seating arrangements. Buildings were clean and well-maintained. The library had an extensive collection of books, journals, and digital resources. It offered ample study space, Wi-Fi access, and quiet zones conducive to learning. Laboratories were well-equipped with necessary instruments and technology, but some equipment occasionally required maintenance.

Faculty: Classrooms were spacious, air-conditioned, and equipped with smart boards, projectors, and comfortable seating, making the learning experience seamless.

Hostel: Hostel facilities were decent, with clean rooms and basic amenities. However, some hostels could use upgrades in terms of furniture and recreational spaces.

Overall: I studied from jalpaiguri engineering college.i want to give overall 9.5.very good college.college environment is also good.their staff and teachers are so good

Placement: Jalpaiguri government engineering college management placement their College students very good company after completing the full course.they are very responsible about this placement

Faculty: Jalpaiguri government engineering college faculty are very good.they are experienced.they teach every students very well.if any students have any problem about studies they really try to solve students problem

Hostel: Jalpaiguri government engineering college hostels are very good and safe for male and female. college have separate hostels for male and female.hostels food is quite good.and hostel staffs are awasome

Infrastructure: As the 2nd engineering college , Jegc offered six undergraduate (B Tech) and two postgraduate (M Tech) course in this college. And here have a basket ball ground , a football field and a Cricket field, a volley ball ground etc. There are free Wi-Fi in hostels rooms. It has a beautiful campus, and seniors are helpful.

Faculty: Here are 100 up teachers in this college .They are very helpful in your study, and their teaching quality are awesome. This college has an advantage that is autonomous college. overall activities are great.

Hostel: In this college has four separate hostels . Hostels are quite good. There have many friends in this hostel. Hostel fees are 32k/year. Here staffs are more friendly with us. They help us. All floor are cleaned daily. Here hostels have a tv we saw cricket match together in common room. All rooms have a bed , a table and a cupboard. All rooms have his own Wi-Fi Lan system.

Overall: Getting chance through WBJEE, it is one of the best college. According to me, it the second best college in West Bengal. And according to education and placement the college is good enough. But it is not situated in a city, so here sometime you may face some communication iss. Otherwise now this college is best for a better carrier.

Placement: Placement rate here is now high so it is now a great opportunity for us. From last year the placement is near about 100 %. And highest package is 60 LPA(of campus) , 44 LPA (ok campus) , and average package is near about 9.5 LPA. And so many popular company are placed our students, and give so many internships opertunity. So it is too good for a bright future.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of this college is average as per building, chair , table or some devices.But educational infrastructure is so good . And also here you get a healthy campus life with so many clubs as like - CFI (centre for innovation), Cyber security club, Google development student club, Dance club, Drama club, singing club, Gym , Coding club etc.

Faculty: Here you will get a chance to learn something special from a group of experiences and highly knowledgeable teachers. Mostly the teachers are PhD holder , but some are MSC degree holders. But the experience level of their Is very high. So you feel that you get one of the best teachers in West Bengal.

Hostel: In this college, you get 5 hostel, 4 boys and one girls hostel. The hostel environment is good, but this are old little, but it renewed recently. Also the mess food is good and healthy so you haven't face any issue here.

Overall: JGEC, established in 1961, is a premier institute for quality technical education in India. As the second oldest engineering college in West Bengal, JGEC offers six undergraduate courses (Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, and Mechanical Engineering) and two postgraduate courses (Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering).

Placement: It has a commendable placement record. Approximately 90-94% of students secure placements each year. The highest package offered stands at 63 LPA, while the lowest package is 5 LPA. On average, students receive a package of 9 LPA. JGEC’s training and placement cell actively assists final-year students, providing pre-placement guidance through industrial training and summer internships

Hostel: Hostel facility is so wonderful. Every cooking arrangements are so hygiene. Food quality is so good. In our hostel gym facilities are available. Which keep us fit

Overall: I will give 4.1 out of 5. The infrastructure, hostel are good. Faculty and placements are better than good. Coding culture is ver good in this college. There is a need of improvement in some area. Overall the college and placement are good.

Placement: Placements: 90-94% students placed from this college and the highest package is 63 LPA, lowest package is 5 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Recruitment companies are Atlassian, TATA, VOLTAS, L&T, Cognizant, HPL etc. Top roles offered in our course is as a graduate engineer trainee. Also every student got internship.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure: Wi-Fi labs and classroom and library has awesome facilities. There is available internet so we can research everything easily. The campus is very large, with a campus size of 165 acres. Overall the infrastructure is moderate.

Faculty: Faculty: Teachers are also helpful and they are highly qualified and their teaching quality is too awesome. Teachers are also very experienced. Every core subject is very related to industrial life. The semester examination in our college is standard quality. Forty marks is the pass mark out of hundred.

Hostel: Hostel: The quality and facilities in our hostel is average. The food quality in our hostel is so average. There is available space for sports and games. The hostel is cleaned regularly. There is also a gym for students in the campus of our college.

Overall: Online education is a modern educational paradigm where students access instructional content through the internet. This innovative approach has gained immense popularity, especially after the pandemic, owing to its convenience and adaptability. It has enabled students of all ages to acquire knowledge from the comfort of their homes, transcending geographical barriers. Online education offers a diverse range of courses and resources, fostering continuous learning. However, it also presents challenges, such as dependency on technology and potential disengagement from the physical world.

Placement: At JGEC, dedicated placement cell strives to equip students with the skills and resources necessary to navigate the career landscape. 95% of students get placement from college at good companies like- Wipro, CBRE, Godrej, LG, Deloitte, ITC, Asian paints etc. But maximum come for sales profile so finance, HR, analytics students get difficulty to find placement of their own choice. Highest package company offer is 10 lakh and average package of our college is 4-5 lakhs. The placement process is quite easy, and our college is supportive as they do provide internship to us.

Infrastructure: As of my last update in January 2022, Kumaun University is known for its picturesque campuses in Nainital and Almora, Uttarakhand. The infrastructure is generally considered decent, with well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and recreational facilities. However, for the most current and detailed information, I recommend checking recent reviews or contacting the university directly.

Faculty: The education provided here is top-class, and you will become a good person when you passed out of college. All the professors here are really helpful to all students in the classroom and provide knowledge of courses.

Hostel: This hostel is absolutely superb, the staff are friendly, helpful, full of local knowledge and go the extra mile. The facilities are cleaned daily, rooms are spacious, air conditioned, large lockers for the bigger backpacks, free wireless internet in the lounge with some computers also connected to the internet, with a large screen TV (which was popular most evenings)

Overall: The college ta ato about emotions , we get our many best friend , knowledge , moments , happiness this college gave me all of these , i loved my college i capture best moments in my life , overall best college

Placement: If you think this college student didn't get placement then you are totally wrong because in my things 2023 all student are placed majority in on campus some in of campus , three highest package in on campus is around 44lpa average is 8 lpa, minimum is 3 lpa. Overall placement is too good in this college

Infrastructure: This college is very old so you can't expect a good infrastructure from these college , building are very old labs are too old , but you get all kind of instruments in these college no worry

Faculty: Faculty are very supportive, humble , when you face any problem they helping to reach out the problem , they explain topics very well , approx 30-40 faculty member available in our college , expect 2-3 faculty member all are overall good helpful

Hostel: Hostel are too old , you get a room , sharing room with 2 room mates, also you get an bed and an table , each room have 2 tubelight , 3 almira for 3 room mates , total 200+ room are available in this hostel , hostel food are likely good but not tooo ..
