Jawaharlal Darda Institute of Engineering and Technology, popularly known as JDIET, was established in 1996 as an engineering college dedicated to improving the technical higher education scenario in the Vidarbha region of Maharashtra. The institute offers full-time BE programmes in various specialisations such as computer science and engineering, chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, electronics and telecommunication engineering, mechanical engineering, and textile engineering.
