JIMS Rohini Sector 5, Delhi Scholarships 2024 - Details, Eligibility, Amount

Jagan Institute of Management Studies Sec 5, Rohini offer scholarship on the basis of CAT scores. Candidates may check the eligibility criteria for this scholarship from the table provided below.

The college offers two types of Scholarship Schemes : 

1. Scholarship based on past academic record

2. Scholarship based on performance during the programme

Scholarship Based on Past Academic Record

To encourage meritorious students, the college offers merit cum performance-based scholarship to the applicants who have a good academic record in the past and also able to maintain the stipulated merit in the trimester examinations

Eligibility

Minimum 70% marks in Class X, XII and Graduation

Scholarship Amount

Rs. 1,00,000 (Rupees One Lakh) to be paid in 6 instalments as given below :

In case of withdrawal of admission after the first instalment of the fee, then the candidate will have to return the scholarship amount or the same shall be deducted from the refund if applicable as per the rules. In case a candidate getting a scholarship at the time of admission is not able to perform in few or all of the subsequent trimesters, he shall receive scholarships in only those Trimesters, where he/she is found eligible. Those candidates whose final year graduation results are awaited and they hope to qualify for the first instalment of scholarship may apply for the same in advance. They shall receive the amount after the declaration of their final graduation results and submission of mark sheet.

Scholarships Based on Performance During the Programme

Merit scholarships are awarded to the students based on their academic performance in every trimester final exams (from 1st to 5th Trimester only. Not applicable for 6th trimester).

Eligibility

i. Minimum 70% marks in aggregate in the respective Trimester examination (no back paper) and

ii. Minimum 75% attendance in the respective trimester as per the attendance rules.

Scholarship Amount

The scholarship will be awarded in order of merit in a trimester and will be restricted to top 3 students only.

• 1st position - Rs.10000

• 2nd position - Rs.6000

• 3rd position - Rs.4000

JIMS Rohini also provides a limited number of scholarships to the student. The scholarships are based on past academic record and the performance during the exam. 

The student who has secured 70% marks in their Class X, XII and graduation ( For B.Com stream - 60% marks in graduation) can avail the 1st type of scholarship. In this scholarship, the student can prevail in the scholarship amount of Rs. 1 lakh. The student's academic performance in every trimester is noted for the availability of the 2nd type of scholarship.
