Scholarship for programmes after graduation

• Lala jagat Narain Scholarship (one) 100% Scholarship of tuition fees – 95% aggregate and above in class XII and 80% in Graduation. This Scholarship is for Masters in (Mass Comm.)
• Romesh Chandra Scholarship (one) 50% Scholarship of tuition fees – 90% aggregate and above in Class XII. This Scholarship is for Bachelors in (Mass Comm.) Shanti Devi Scholarship(one) 25% Scholarship of tuition fees- 80% aggregate and above in Class XII and 70% in Graduation ONLY FOR girl student.

In addition to the above, following concessions are also offered: 15% fee concession is offered to siblings, if they study together (irrespective of the course offered) 10% fee concession is offered to students, who continue their higher education at J R Media without any year gap.

Continuation of Scholarship 

• Scholarship seats are limited. The mentioned percentages are only the eligibility to apply for scholarship.

• The main components of the programme administration shall comprise printed study material, evaluation of assignments,individual/group counselling, audio-visual aids, extension lectures, project work, practical training and laboratory work.

Continuous Evaluation Scheme

The performance of students is evaluated on the basis of various parameters like sessionals/internal assessment and participation in face-to-face contact-cum-counseling programmes.

1. Internal Assessments: Under continuous and comprehensive evaluation, a formative evaluation exercise is being conducted by the Institute; in which students are required to appear in the internal assessment tests in each course, and due weightage is also given to the attendance of the students.
2. Assignments (wherever application): Assignments are an integral and compulsory component of the institutional system. These are tutor marked assignments for each theory course. These assignments are to be submitted in the office of the Institution in accordance with the submission schedule.
