Overall: I have always wanted to study a computer-related course because I was very interested in them from a young age and I could have gotten into a better college if I had prepared more but I am glad of what I have now. That said, campus life is very bad because its a private college and they are mainly focused on studies and not student's social wellbeing and such.
Placement: Last year, approximately 40% of the students from the Computer Science department were successfully placed. The campus provides excellent internship opportunities as well. The highest annual package offered on campus was 10 Lacs.
Infrastructure: The percentage of the students getting the placement in Jyothi Engineering College is always above eighty percent and people with a CGPA of above 7.5 are securing jobs here. There are many companies like Infosys and others that are coming here for the selection of the students.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable in what they teach; most of them are helpful in their studies but there are some who are overly strict in certain departments, but its manageable most of the time. The exams are done very strictly and they are not that difficult if you are well prepared. The curriculum is filled with relevant topics for my department.
Hostel: The restroom facilities are maintained to the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness on a daily basis. However, the hostel poses a challenge as it requires significant improvement in terms of cleanliness.
