The college campus area is spread across 38786.60 square metres. The campus consists of an administrative block, degree block, post graduate block, pre university block and a research centre. 

The administrative block houses the office of the principal, office manager, reception, accounts office, examination cell, AV room, studio, IGNOU center, documentation room and computer labs. 

The Degree block consist of the Vice Principal's office, IQAC office, various departments for Faculty, Labs for Science Departments, conference halls, counseling center, Union Room, Adventure Club, NCC / NSS Room and class rooms. 

The Auditorium is a stately structure which is truly an imaginative blend of aesthesis and convenience with subtle sophistication and modest magnificence.

Entrepreneurship Club - The Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) at Jyoti Nivas College is a student-run organization that aims to enhance the entrepreneurial spirit among JNCites.JNC E-Cell attempts to provide hands on experience in the field of entrepreneurship to all its students on campus across the Arts, Science, Commerce and Management disciplines. Committed to bring out the best in each student, we strive earnestly to facilitate the members with skills to become successful both personally and professionally. We train young minds with practical activity-oriented sessions not only with the idea of developing entrepreneurs but also to be successful managers and leaders in the corporate world. The E-Cell of Jyoti Nivas College was inaugurated on Thursday, July 20, 2006. The inauguration was undertaken in the presence of eminent personalities from the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN) family, the management, faculty and student members of the college.JNC E-Cell enables the students to emerge as successful entrepreneurs in every sphere of life if not choose entrepreneurship as a viable career option.
Adventure Club - The club in association with Wanderer and jungle resorts s organized a trip to Bheemeshwari which is two and a half hours of journey from Bangalore. The students had an experience of vine transversing , Burma bridge , river rafting etc. River rafting was undertaken in two groups along the Bheemeshwari water. It was exciting as the groups encountered swirling , toppling , ramming of raft in flowing water.
Alumni Club - Alumni reunion is always a reason to rejoice as it gives an opportunity for the students to return to their alma mater and reminiscent their days in the college, meet their teacher, reconnect with friends and appreciate the strides taken by the institution.
Social Club - All India Christian University Federation, AICUF unit has been active in the college since its inception. "We are born in an unjust society, we are determined not to leave as we find it" is the motto of AICUF. The AICUF unit had its inauguration and orientation on 5th July 2011 at 10. am in the auditorium with the objective to enable students to develop a critical awareness and analysis of the Indian and world situation, to cultivate a deep and genuine concern for the oppressed and marginalized and to effectively commit themselves to the task of building a new and just society Dr.Fr.Kuriakose Pallikunnel Director School of Counselling services well known social worker and speaker was the chief guest. Students were highlighted about the various social issues especially issues related to street children and youth. Regular visits are organised to Asha nikethan Koramangala, Centre for mentally challenged Little sisters of the poor, home for the aged, Gerizim centre Ejipura for handicapped and mentally challenged. Students had very enriching experience of helping and spending time at Sneha care home and Snehadan, a community care centre at Carmalaram Sarjapur road Bangalore for the AIDS patients and HIV positive children . The group was addressed by the coordinator and his team and students were given an orientation about" To be a positive force in addressing the need of HIV infected persons, ensuring their dignity and overall quality of life, by motivating, caring ,supporting and rehabilitatinging them.Later the students were allowed to interact with the patients.
Cultural Club - Indian Dance : Indian dance team 'Adwaya' has always made our college functions colourful. They have won several prizes in various intercollegiate and intra collegiate fests. Western Dance : An excellent self choreographed team of dances constitute our western dance team. Indian Music : The Indian music team 'Aikya' is famous for experimenting with the different genres of music. They have not only won many individual prizes but have made us proud in even securing many group prizes in various fests held. Western Music : The Western Music Choir has established a reputation as one of Bangalore's most sought after and accomplished choirs. It is prominent at state and National Level Choral Music programmers such as the Glorious Festival of Harmony and at all major inter-collegiate competitions. It has also state its own concerts for charity. Theatre Club-'Bahuroopi': "Bahuroopi" launches stage plays on social themes & ethics in an effective, soul searching & heart stirring way. Many won trophies in National Theatre Fests. An Anti-litter campaign in Jyoti Nivas College was successfully managed to curb littering on the campus.
Social Club - National Cadet Corps is a Tri-Services Organisation comprising the Army, Navy and Air Force, engaged in grooming the youth - 'The Leaders of Tomorrow' - into disciplined and patriotic citizens. The genesis of the NCC can be traced back to the First World War when the Britishers created the University Corps as the second line of defense and to have a large pool of trained youth available for employment into the Armed Forces.
NSS Club - The NSS is a centrally sponsored scheme which was started by the ministry of education in September 1969 in 37 selected universities and Bangalore university was one among them, it was introduced in 25 colleges covering 5000 students, today the programme is extended to about 118 colleges covering a total strength of 11000 students. Now, besides the Government of India .Government of Karnataka also co-sponsors the programme through the Secretary of Youth Services, Information and Tourism Government of Karnataka. Every year best NSS volunteers are selected and deputed to participate in various camps and events such as State and National Republic Day parades, National Integration camp, State and National level NSS Festivals etc.
Rotary Club - Rotary Club offers a broad range of humanitarian, intercultural, and educational programs and activities designed to improve the human condition and advance the organization's ultimate goal of world understanding and peace. The four avenues of Community Service, Club Service, Professional Service and International Service help clubs and districts achieve their service goals in their own communities and in communities abroad, fostering fellowship and goodwill in the process. Rotaract clubs are part of a global effort to bring peace and international understanding to the world. The Rotaract program has grown into a strong, international network of 7,300 clubs in more than 150 countries and geographical areas. Rotaract's 145,000 members are young men and women (ages 18 to 30) who serve the needs of their communities, widen their personal and professional contacts and increase their understanding of the world.
Social Club - The "Jyoti Mahila Samithi" in JNC has been established in order to protect women staff and students associated with the college from all sorts of injustice or sexual harassment of any nature directly and indirectly.
