KIIT BA in Economics - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2026

Overall The curriculum here is very flexible which influenced me to choose this course in this college. We get to choose our class timings like if we want the morning batch (8 am - 2 pm) or if we want the evening batch (11 am - 6 pm). We get to choose according to our comfortable timing. The curriculum is designed in such a way that we get to gain knowledge in all subjects of computer science in these 4 years. Apart from the theory classes there are labs too. This curriculum prepares us for further academic pursuits or for jobs. We have four exams in each semester. 2 mid-sem and 2 end-sem exams in a time period of 6 months. The difficulty level is moderate but sometimes the important subjects which are required for our future, those papers are sometimes difficult so that we can be prepared for real-world applications. There are no such areas which requires improvement in the course curriculum and teaching methods. Class Size : 80 Course Fees : INR 350000 per year

Placement The placement in the college is good enough. Students get 100% placement in the college. The college provides internship programme with the stipend. The average salary is Rs 40000 per month, and the highest salary is 60-70 thousand per month. The companies like Sree medical, Sai Medical, Apollo hospitals etc. have visited our hospital.

Infrastructure The campus has 24 hours wi-fi connection availability. The labs and the classrooms have Wi-fi facility as well as air-conditioning. The library is also well maintained with a variety of books. The quality of labs and classroom are very good and has premium class. The quality of food available in the hostel is also good, and the hostel rooms are also air-conditioned and have 24 hour Wi-Fi connections.

Faculty The faculty are very helpful and qualified. They are very experienced as well as knowledgeable. The faculty in our college use modern techniques to teach. The students get exposure for all the practical activities involved in the studies in KIMS as well as the other medical colleges.

Overall As it is a part of the KIIT University, the events are in accordance with the same. Other than that there are various conferences. The Course is easy and on point. Class hours are manageable and one exams are not that tough. One can score a very good cgpa by regularly studying and can even continue to do his/her side hustle. KIIT is amazing in these terms.

Overall College organised a fest every year in which they make *** lot of efforts to make the students get a break from the studies. This is a university campus situated in the heart of the city so no transportation related issues are there. U can get a ride any time u want.

Placement There are no placements for doctors. We have an internship for 1 year in our hospital only. After that we go out for the post graduation. We get 20000 rs stipend. After our internship we can either go for a job or we can join a post graduation course whichever suits us.

Infrastructure We have good classrooms Wi-Fi enabled campus we get an insurance from the hospital. We have a fitness centre for our campus equipped with all the equipments and good trainers. There are canteens which serve good hygienic food for a very low price. There are AC rooms in which 2 people stay. The rooms are spacious and don't have any problem with lighting or ventilation.

Faculty Teachers are very friendly and caring. They have a very good knowledge and many years of experience with which they teach the students. Teachers use both board and projector teaching for different subjects whichever is required. The institution has a lot of doctors which are teachers as well.

Hostel The hostel is okayish, though it is strict the IN-TIME is 6:30 for 1st year and 7 for 2nd year so you need to comply with the rules, the menu is good, the taste of food is average, if you want to register for hostel you'll get an email after your admission you need to fill it out

Overall I wanted to pursue BTech because I have always been fascinated by technology and everything it is capable of. The curriculum of KIIT is very good for the preparation for real world however, it isn't enough and outside resources are required for further academic pursuits. They can add more of tech related courses in the first year instead of so many non tech courses. The timings and frequency of exams are quiet good and doesn't bother the daily routine, the level of exam papers are mostly moderate.

Placement The college has its own placement cell. The recruiters are generally law firms, LPOs and companies. Our batch placements were not that great. The placements that they offer and the lump tuition fees they take is incomparable. The average package offered was 3 lacs per annum, and the highest was 5.5 lacs per annum.

Infrastructure The college infrastructure is quite great. The college has a three-floor well-equipped library. The college provides access to various e-journals too. Other facilities like gym, swimming pool, stadium, and computer labs are present. The university has a well established medical college also.

Faculty The teachers during our batch were well-qualified and knowledgeable. They were very helpful. They used presentation and case-studies as methods of teaching. The ratio of student-faculty was 40:1. The college organises various seminars and conferences providing us great exposure. Even we were taken for study tours to prison.

Hostel The hostel facilities are just excellent. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. They provide very good quality furniture, the ac works very good and the maid cleans the rooms and bathrooms everyday. I would rate the food 7/10. The food quality is good but the options are very less and there's just one or two dishes to choose from. The hostel registration consists of a process of choosing your room size(1 bedded, two bedded,etc) then selecting if you want premium hostels(with bathrooms) or non premium(no bathrooms).
