Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences Admission Latest Update

NEET UG 2026 city intimation slip has been released. Registered candidates can download their city allotment slip from the official website at neet.nta.nic.in by logging in with their application number, date of birth, or password. The NEET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted on May 3, 2026.

NEET SS 2025 Round 2 counselling registration has started and will remain open until April 3, 2026. Candidates can complete the registration process by visiting the official website at mcc.nic.in. The choice filling window is also currently active and will remain open until April 4, 2026. The Round 2 seat allotment result is scheduled to be announced on April 7, 2026.

NEET SS 2025 Round 1 seat allotment result has been released. Candidates can check the result on the official website at mcc.nic.in. The college reporting and admission process for allotted DM, MCh, and DNB seats will begin on March 19 and must be completed by March 25, 2026.

10+2 pass with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with at least 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for general category candidates and 40% marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology taken together for SC/ST Candidates.  Age: Lower age should be 17 years as on 31.12.15 & upper age limit should be maximum 25 years as on 31.12.15. The upper age limit may be relaxed by five year for SC/ST candidates.

Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences MD Admission

  • The candidate must be an Indian National.

  • A candidate, who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognised medical college of India or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination.

  • A candidate who, after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or the foreign medical degree recognized by MCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same by 31st March, 2016 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31st March, 2016.

  • The cut off dates for the recognition of the Medical Colleges from where the candidates have passed their MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the 2016 will be 31st October, 2015. The Colleges recognised after this date will not be considered.

  • Registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling.

KIMS Bhubaneswar provides admission to its MBBS programme through AIQ. The admission process is done based on the NEET UG exam. KIMS Bhubaneswar fees for MBBS is Rs 18,50,000 per annum. Students also need to pay an additional fee of Rs 75,000 at the time of admission. The closing rank for admissions 2023 has not been released yet.
