CSJMU Scholarships

CSJMU Kanpur offers scholarships and fee concessions to its students to have wider access to education. The university aims to assist students from financially weaker backgrounds to avail of their quality education. The CSJMU scholarship is provided on the basis of the performance of the students along with their economic backgrounds and annual family income. Below are the details of the various scholarships that the university offers:

Mean-Based Scholarships

The university offers mean-based scholarships who come from financially weak sections or backgrounds. 25% to 50% of the entire tuition fee of such candidates is waived off by the university. To apply for this scholarship students must provide an income certificate that is approved by the Tehsildar or Magistrate of the respective areas.

Merit-Based Scholarships

The students who score an aggregate of 60% in their qualifying examination or attain a CPI of 6.5 and above out of 10, can avail of this scholarship. The CSJMU scholarship status 2023 will be finalised by the Scholarship Committee after the verification of all data and certificates.

Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University previously known as Kanpur University does not offer a BSc Nursing programme. The university does not provide nursing stream programmes rather it offers engineering, management, education, paramedical, law etc. courses. The university has 13 schools that offer more than 400 courses at diploma, UG, PG and doctoral levels.

With a valid score in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University BSc Nursing entrance exam you can apply for admission in college that participates in counselling conducted by Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University for BSc Nursing admission.

Yes, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University Kanpur offers diploma courses in the engineering stream after Class 10th. The duration of diploma programmes is 3 years. A few of the diploma courses after Class 10th are Diploma in Chemical Technology, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering etc.

Yes, Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University provides diploma courses in the fields of engineering, technology, food production, bakery & confectionery, beverage service and front office. The diploma in chemical technology, metallurgy, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering are of three years duration (six semesters). The tuition fees are Rs 20,000 per semester and admission is done on the basis of merit. Candidates who have passed class 10 or equivalent with science and mathematics as compulsory subjects are eligible. The diploma in food production, food & beverage service, bakery & confectionery and front office courses are of one year and six months (IT) duration. Candidates who have passed 10+2 in any stream are eligible. The fees range from Rs 29,200 to Rs 34,200 per year.
