KL University Guntur conducts admissions in three phases each year. All phases of KLEEE 2026 are now completed. Students applying through national entrance exams such as JEE Main and AP EAMCET can still apply. The table below shows important dates for the 2026–27 admission cycle.

KL University Guntur admission eligibility criteria vary by course. For UG courses, candidates must pass 10+2 or equivalent with 55% to 60% marks, along with a personal interview for non engineering programmes, depending on the course. For PG courses, candidates must have a relevant bachelor’s degree with 55% to 60% marks and a personal interview.

KL University accepts both its own entrance tests and national or state level exams. The university conducts KLEEE for engineering, KLECET for lateral entry engineering, KLSAT for science, KLHAT for humanities, and KLMAT for management. Candidates with valid scores in JEE Main, AP EAMCET, GATE, CAT, or AP ICET are exempt from the respective university test. The table below shows the exams, the courses they cover, and their pattern:

KLEEE is conducted in both online and offline modes across major cities in India. The exam is similar in difficulty to JEE and covers Class 11 and 12 PCM topics. KLMAT and KLHAT follow the same format, with 90 minute papers of 75 questions covering English, logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude, and general knowledge. Results from all KLEEE phases are considered, and the best score is used for admission and scholarship.

KLU Guntur admission process starts with application registration, appearing for an entrance exam or submitting a national exam score, receiving a call letter, attending counselling, completing document verification, paying the admission fee, and confirming the seat. A personal interview is required for all non engineering programmes.

KL University BTech Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Check Eligibility
Candidates must pass 10+2 with at least 60 percent aggregate marks, including Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. For Biotechnology, PCB is also accepted.

Step 2: Choose Entrance Exam
Apply through KLEEE or submit valid scores from JEE Main, JEE Advanced, AP EAMCET, TS EAMCET, or Uni GAUGE. Candidates with these scores do not need to appear for KLEEE.

Step 3: Fill Application Form
Register on the official admissions portal and complete the application form with personal and academic details. Pay the application fee of INR 1,000.

Step 4: Appear for KLEEE (if applicable)
If applying through KLEEE, appear in any of the three phases. If candidates take multiple attempts, the best score is considered for admission and scholarship.

Step 5: Check Result
Download the scorecard after the result is announced. Admission and scholarship eligibility are based on entrance scores or board performance.

Step 6: Attend Counselling
Participate in KL University counselling. Seats are allotted based on rank, preferences, and availability. Candidates applying through JEE Main or other exams are also included in this process.

Step 7: Seat Allotment
Choose the preferred branch from available options such as CSE, AI and Data Science, CS IT, ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, IoT, and Biotechnology.

Step 8: Confirm Admission
Confirm the seat by paying the one time admission fee of INR 16,000. This fee may be waived for children of KL University alumni.

Step 9: Pay Course Fee
Pay the first semester fee as per the selected branch. Annual fees range from INR 2,30,000 to INR 2,95,000.

Step 10: Document Verification and Joining
Complete document verification and report to the campus to start classes.

KL University MBA Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Check Eligibility
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 55 percent aggregate marks.

Step 2: Choose Entrance Exam
Apply using a valid score in KLMAT, CAT, MAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, or AP ICET. Candidates can apply through any one of these exams.

Step 3: Fill Application Form
Register on the official admissions portal and complete the application form, by paying the application fee of INR 1,000.

Step 4: Shortlisting
Candidates are shortlisted based on entrance exam scores and academic performance.

Step 5: Attend Personal Interview
All shortlisted candidates must appear for a personal interview. The interview is conducted by a faculty panel and covers academic background, career goals, and current affairs.

Step 6: Final Selection
Final selection is based on a combination of entrance exam score, academic record, and interview performance.

Step 7: Confirm Admission
Selected candidates must confirm their seat by paying the one time admission fee of INR 16,000.

Step 8: Pay Course Fee
Pay the first semester fee based on the selected programme. Annual fees are INR 3,25,000 for standard MBA, INR 5,50,000 for MBA Fintech, and INR 6,00,000 for MBA Global Program.

Step 9: Scholarship Allotment
Scholarships are offered based on entrance exam performance. Candidates with CAT, MAT, or XAT scores of 90 percentile or above, or AP ICET rank between 1 and 1,000, may receive up to 25 percent fee waiver.

Step 10: Document Verification and Joining
Complete document verification and report to the campus to begin the programme.

KL University Other UG courses Admission Process 2026

Step 1: Check Eligibility
Candidates must pass 10+2 in the relevant stream, with minimum marks as required for the chosen course.

Step 2: Apply Online
Register on the official admissions portal and complete the application form, by paying the application fee of INR 1,000.

Step 3: Appear for Aptitude Test
Candidates must appear for the relevant entrance test based on the course. KLSAT is for science and BCA, KLHAT is for humanities and management, while some courses may have a general written test.

Step 4: Attend Personal Interview
Shortlisted candidates must appear for a personal interview. This is mandatory for courses such as BBA, BCA, BSc, BA, BCom, and BBA LLB.

Step 5: Selection and Seat Allotment
Selection is based on test performance and interview. Seats are allotted based on merit and availability.

Step 6: Confirm Admission
Selected candidates must pay the admission fee to confirm their seat.

Step 7: Pay Course Fee and Join
Pay the first semester fee and complete document verification to start the programme.

KLU Vijayawada accepts applications in both online and offline modes. The online process is available at admissions.kluniversity.in. The application fee is INR 1,000 and is non refundable. It can be paid through net banking, debit or credit card, UPI, or demand draft. Follow the steps below to complete the application.

• Visit admissions.kluniversity.in and click on 'Register' on the Online Application Form.
• Enter your name, email ID, and WhatsApp number. Verify your details using the OTP sent to your mobile and email.
• Fill in your personal details, select your state and city, choose the campus (Vijayawada or Hyderabad), and select the programme you want to apply for.
• Enter your academic details, including your 10+2 board, marks, and entrance exam scores such as KLEEE rank, JEE percentile, or EAMCET rank, as applicable.
• Upload scanned copies of your photograph (passport size, white background) and signature.
• Pay the application fee of INR 1,000 online and download the payment receipt.
• Download and print the application confirmation slip or admit card for the entrance exam (if applicable).

For offline applications, download the form from kluniversity.in, fill it out, and submit it with a demand draft of INR 1,000 payable to ‘KL Deemed to be University’ at the nearest KLU centre or by post to the Admissions Office, KL Deemed to be University, Vaddeswaram, Andhra Pradesh 522502.

Document verification is conducted in person at the Vijayawada campus. Students who cannot present original documents on the day of reporting should inform the admissions office in advance. Admission is confirmed only after all original documents are verified and the semester fee, including the merit fee and admission fee, is paid in full.
