The KLE Institute of Technology, Hubli was founded in 2008. It is one of the best evolving engineering colleges of North Karnataka, offering 6 UG and 2 PG courses (MCA & M.Tech) currently, and is located opposite the Hubli Airport. The KLE Institute of Technology, Hubli, is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum and recognised by AICTE, New Delhi. The vision of the college is "One Amongst Top Five Percent of Engineering Colleges in Karnataka State by providing conducive teaching-learning environment, enabling transformation of young minds into competent engineers responsive to societal needs and values." The mission of the institute is "Modernizing infrastructure from time-to-time, encouraging faculty and supporting staff to upgrade their knowledge aligning to technological trends."The modern teaching methodology assists the students in getting an all around view of engineering, technology and the entrepreneur world. The diligent faculty team of the college possesses hands-on experience and up to date knowledge of their subject and area of expertise. The infrastructure and facilities of KLEIT consists of spread-out campus alongside various amenities in the form of library, computer center, classrooms with proper teaching and learning aids, medical facilities etc. The institute seeks to place each of its students in an organization/company of great repute.
