Kaziranga University B.Tech. in Computer Science & Engineering (Lateral Entry) - Fees, Eligibility, Seats and Admission 2025

Overall: My experience as a student of Kaziranga University has been very amazing. A huge campus, amazing faculties, and all the necessary facilities are available especially the wifi availability in the campus. It has been a very amazing experience being part of such a wonderful college.

Placement: The Assam Kaziranga University guarantees 100% placement to students. The highest placement in the academic year 2025 was about 10 lpa and almost all the students got placed in very reputed companies like numetry, npw etc.

Infrastructure: The Assam Kaziranga University campus is quite a large one. It has two buildings: the school of business and the new building. Each building has a library, an elevator and a seminar hall. Also there is a large auditorium where most of the events take place. The classrooms are fitted with AC and digital projectors and whiteboard. The infrastructure is top notch with high equipped labs , workshops, 3D printing labs and Intel centre of excellence. Also there are 2 fields , a basketball court, a badminton court and also a sitting area for students the #KAZIRANGA. Hostels are present inside the campus itself. There are in total 5 hostel: 3 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel. Also there are faculty houses for faculties and room for rent for the guardian of students who wants to stay while visiting their children. There's also a canteen which for students which provides good and hygienic food at a reasonable price. Also a shop is available inside the campus that contains all the necessary items that could be required. Also there is a stationary store where we can find all kinds of stationary. Every possible requirement can be found inside the campus itself. Also there is a medical room with a doctor and nurses and an ambulance for emergency situations.

Faculty: The faculties of Kaziranga University are highly qualified and experienced. Most of the faculties are professors with PhD degrees and some are alumini of prestigious institutions like the IITs and the NITs. The faculties have a good amount of experience in teaching and amazing achievements in their fields. They are very helpful and approachable and with their unique teaching methods they help the students to clear their concepts thoroughly.

Hostel: There are 5 hostels in kaziranga University which are inside the campus itself. 3 girls hostel and 2 boys hostel The hostels have 4 seater, 3 seater , 2 seater and 2 seater AC rooms with varying fees for each. Also there is an activity room in each hostel which can be used as a study room by the students. The hostel provides free wifi 24x7. The food is also quite good and hygienic and the restrooms are well maintained. The fees structure of the hostel is :- 4 seater: 38000 3 seater: 45000 2 seater: 60000 2 seater AC: 70000 as per 2025

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is brilliant. Our college provides us with all facilities. There are big classrooms, neat and clean washrooms, Library, labs for practicel, green environments etc.

Hostel: Each room has a bed for three children, a table and a wardrobe. There is no shortage of electrical appliances. The food provided by the hostel improves the health of the children

Overall: It is a teaching and affiliating University with the explicit objective of facilitating and promoting “studies, research and extension work in emerging areas of higher education with focus on professional education, for example engineering, technology, management studies, medicine, pharmacy, nursing, education, law, etc. and also to achieve excellence in these.

Placement: There are some placements for a certain number of people. Last year, 90% of the students applied for placement, but only 40% selected an average salary of 7 lacs and the highest of 13 lacs per annum. We need to develop a lot in placement.

Hostel: The hostels are the sole reason for me giving only 2 stars because 6 students have to share a single room with bunker beds and a western toilet for 6 people.

Overall: Placements in this university are average. This university promise 100% of placements. In B.Tech CSE, the highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies are IBM, Byjus, AWS, TCS, etc. The college helps students to get internships, and around 30-40% of students get internships in companies like TCS, IBM, etc. The top roles offered are data analytics, information security agent, etc. Infrastructure: The infrastructure in this university is not good, especially management in this university is not good. However, our faculty members are very supportive and very helpful. The campus, classrooms, and laboratories are Wi-Fi enabled but the condition of the Wi-Fi is not good. This university has 2 hostels for boys and 2 hostels for girls and 2 quarters for faculty members. In the hostel, students only get 35 MB of data from Wi-Fi which is very disappointing. First, when students joined the hostel the gym is free for all, but the condition of the gym is very poor. Now when they renewed the gym with new equipment they started taking charge to use the gym. This university hostel for boys has 4 types of room 4 seater fees is Rs 3,500 per semester, 3 seaters Rs 42,500 per semester, 2 seaters Rs 55,000 per semester, and 2 seaters air-conditioner Rs 65,000 per semester. However to join the hostel students have to pay Rs 10,000 as admission fees. Faculty: Faculty members of this university are very helpful and supportive in our course, but there are some exceptions. The teaching quality is average. It does make the student industry-ready. The semester exam is not hard, because the questions in the exam come from the notes that are provided by our faculty members. The passing percentage in the theory is 35%.

Placement: The institute maintains strong connections with numerous reputed companies and organizations, facilitating excellent placement placement opportunities for its students. The dedicated placement cell assists students in preparing for interviews, conducting mock tests, and enhancing their soft skills.

Hostel: Hostel is good but food is to be improved they are giving tea and milk in the morning and bread and daily one tiffin in the morning And also wifi is available for everyone

Overall: Once you visit the college, you cannot leave. The best place for education. The faculty and facilities are the best. The environment is amazing. Infrastructurs also so good. This modern approach of teaching allows for interactive and engaging classes. The college has implemented digital teaching technology, which enhances the learning experience for students.

Infrastructure: The campus facilities are modern and well maintained to fullfill to the need of the students. All the classrooms are well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities. The libraries are well-stocked with the latest collection of books. nfrastructures of the college is good. Classrooms are spacious. We also have a lecture hall in this college. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled 24X7.

Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified, trained, and knowledgeable, and they provide the best quality of education to the studets. They all are very friendly with students.

Overall: This college is well-known for its dedication to providing excellent education, fostering academic innovation, and promoting teaching methods that encourage student engagement in their own learning. The primary objective of College is the preservation, advancement, and dissemination of knowledge.College challenges everyone to achieve their best and provides the support to ensure that most realize that goal.

Placement: Top companies including ICICI Bank, BridgeLabz Solutions, Concentrix, and Dell offered adecent job opportunities at our college through campus drives.

Faculty: The faculty of my Universiy are The college has Highly qualified, well trained and most them are mastered in their favourite subjects and they looks very interested at the time of teaching. The faculty takes effort to deliver the knowledge to student.

Placement: The placements in the college are good. Lots of good opportunities are there for students. Every year, all the students are placed in their core fields. The highest package given was 10 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs and libraries are present with lab tools and well-stocked books. Wi-Fi facility is available in labs and libraries. roomes are big and clean, library is good, canteen and food of canteen is also good

Faculty: Very good faculty members and they are full experience persons in this college, they provide good knowledge for students , they always support students any kind doubts or problems they can easily as per subject wise

Hostel: I didn't take any hostel facilities beacuse my house is not so far from the college. So i am not able to guide or give me my point of view for the hostel facilities.

Placement: When it comes to placements, Compared to other colleges in our state, our provides offer a higher number of placements. The placement procedure is very simple and pleasant throughout. Our college is also very helpful with the placement process.

Infrastructure: one of the best infrastructure among all over the other college. The college have all the facilities which are requied to the students like Good classrooms, library, sports ground, medical facilities, etc.

Faculty: The best teacher and Faculty in the town are in the university, who teaches students how to survive in the competitive market.The student teacher relationship is well nourished with extra classes and all time available on phone facility. Teachers are well trained in aspect of educational concepts,and they get the best out of students abilities.

Hostel: The food of the hostel which they provided is good and unlimited food and it is good to taste. The security of the students is very high.

Overall: Campus life is the best part of this college. You will get to connect with multiple disciplinary departments and international students are also present if you are lucky enough to get them as colleagues. University provides a good learning experience, practical knowledge, and opportunities for internships and placements.

Placement: Many top most rated companies came here to hire you in the college, and placements cell of the college is always help your places ments. many students were placed in evey year.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-structured and equipped with digital resources. there are big library, canteen, hostel , green environments and many more things are there.

Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is very good, but many guest faculty are not experienced. Teaching methods are still ancient. Teachers are approachable but they don't help much. Some faculty members are very well-experienced and hard-working.

Hostel: The hostel facilities boast excellent infrastructure, including top-notch medical amenities and well-furnished accommodations. the presence of sports grounds enables students to maintain a healthy lifestyle
