MNLU Aurangabad BA+LLB : Fees, Courses, Eligibility & Admission 2025

Overall: Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad was established in 2017 under the Maharashtra National Law University Act, 2014 by the Government of Maharashtra. It is situated in Kanchanwadi, Maharashtra. The University is recognised by the University Grants Commission and the Bar Council of India. The University is ranked 18th by the CLAT cutoff list. Admissions are offered in the discipline of law at graduate, post-graduate, as well as doctoral levels. Apart from courses like B.A.LL.B (Hons.) and B.B.A.LL.B (Hons.), the University also offers one year L.L.M in constitutional and corporate law. Still in its developing phase, the University is doing fairly well when compared to other budding NLUs. However, it still lags behind most of the Tier 3 NLUs as well in terms of academics, infrastructure, faculty-student ration, and co-curriculars.

Placement: The Placement Cell of the University maintains good connections with the top tier firms, and prepares the students well for their interviews. Despite this, the placement ratio remains very low as of now. In the year 2024, 15 students sat for campus placement, and only 4 of them were placed. The hiring firms included Luthra & Luthra and Lega Logic, among others.

Infrastructure: Being a budding tier-3 NLU, the infrastructure of the University is definitely a no-match when compared to other tier-1, tier-2 and even some tier-3 NLUS. While it is equipped with basic amenities like library, reading hall, and hostels for both boys and girls, it lacks a dedicated playground, an auditorium, a canteen, and even a proper clinic. However, the University is still undergoing construction, and one can expect a major expansion in the infra in the next 2-3 years.

Faculty: The University has a decent teaching staff. While some of the teachers are very well educated, the others can improve in explaining the concepts clearly. However, they try their level best to keep the students engaged in their lectures, cater to their their queries and questions, and keep them aware of the practical aspects of the legal profession. The student-teacher relationship is quite friendly, with the teachers being available for the students at almost every time. They are very approachable, and always ready to provide assistance to students, with not just their academics, but also morally, and emotionally. However, the University really needs to focus on faculty recruitment as the teacher-student ratio is not up to the mark, with some subjects having just one expert faculty.

Overall: Overall experience was average. I have got some very good friends. Some teachers who motivate us even infrastructure was really nice. Hostel was also good.

Placement: Not every student of this institute gets placement. Only less numbers of student gets placed like 30%. BUT IF YOU WORK HARD SURELY YOU'LL GET THE PLACEMENT

Infrastructure: If I talk about infrastructure, the buildings are creatively made.Arena for sports was available.Libraries are available.WI services are available.Yeah , this institute infrastructure wise is good

Faculty: Faculties of this institute are really helping in nature and supportive at the same time. They are well qualified and motivates the students to do well in all the areas

Hostel: Hostel facility is good. Quality of food served by mess is average but we used to get varieties each day. Overall cleanliness and hygiene is maintained here

Overall: I m doing BA llb and I can say that the college is decent if we are taking all the aspects. Afterall it's a nlu and any law student know the worth of nlu it's easy to get great internship. The variety of scope and exposure is wide here.

Placement: The placement of our college is good as it is tier 3 Nlu the placements are not meant for everyone but the hardworking ones surely gets placed. We have dedicated internship and placement cell which works for the students to get placed and from last year batch 42/60 were placed.

Infrastructure: The college is situated in the lavish green area and have 55 acres of land but the campus is under construction. That means we don't have much to show but have enough to grow which shows that we have all the basic and compulsory building like hostel library academic block and moot court hall but not fancy stuffs like theater sports complex etc.

Faculty: Faculty is considered to be a important part and our college took this seriously as our faculty is too helpful with the doubts and academics. Also faculty is always available to help for competitions and events.

Hostel: I am from a u.p and I took hostel facility here and I can confidently say that the hostels are neat and clean As they have cleaning staff which even cleans your room too weekly, also the administration employed guards at each and every floor also with cameras for security. The rooms are spacious but one problem is there which is mess the food is little bit spicy.

Overall: If you are opting to become a great lawyer and from a reputed firm then this college is best for you. To enter the college you must pass with a good score in CLAT EXAM Which is held in December and NLU has 22 working branches. The campus and enviornment here is just Ideal and the placements are good too ❤️

Placement: The placements here are good like I said it's an NLU and the packages here are like 15-16 LPA the companies that come here are reputed and if you are looking for practice then also it is good one to go for and the campus will be growing further in future ❤️

Infrastructure: The hostels, the academic building, the mess, and the location are mind-blowing the infrastructure here is the best one seen yet and it will be growing bigger and bigger ❤️

Faculty: The faculty is very well educated and very very helpful they also take care of your studies and enjoyment the faculty is ready any-time to help you no matter what time it is and all of the faculty has studied from top law firms

Hostel: The hostel here are provided with all kinds of facilities like Wi-Fi, hot showers l, washing machines, beds and wardrobe for each student and the building looks like a 7 star hotel at night
