We are located in Bagepalli a small and backward taluk in C.B,Pur District. For the past several decades the taluk was educationally backward and without a single Degree college within the vicinity of 50 kms. We are 100 kms away from the silicon city of Bangalore. The National College Bagepalli was established for July 1978, “A Red Letter Day” in his history of Bagepalli. Since then thousands of Boys and Girls who were otherwise deprived of degree education have been facilitated for their higher education. The year 2003 marks the silver jubilee year of the college.The college has a spiraling campus of 7 acres of land. The premises house all facilities for academic sports and cultural activities. The surroundings of the campus is covered with high greenery with thousands of trees. It is regarded as our above of peace and tranquility by the citizens of Bagepalli.The NES of Karnataka Regd. Basavanagudi Bangalore is our parent institution. The establishment of NES has it's roots in Home Rule Movement. The pioneers of the institution were business magnets and philanthropists. NES was founder on 1918 as NES Mysore, Renamed as NES of Karnataka. Sri Krishna Iyengar was the First President. The life and achievement of Mahatma Gandhi has an increase impact on NES the institution in molded on the Gandian Principles of secular nationalism.

Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, self disciplined and fit citizens through various sports activities.The N.S.S is a social service organization run by the Bangalore University. The N.S.S Unit Started on 15 th June 1978, Prof. D. Shivanna assumed charge as N.S.S Officer in 1985 and till now continues in the position. 100 volunteers selected every year.
