Overall My overall experience in Barasat Government Degree College is bery pleasant and awesome, i studied 3 years in this college i have so many memories with this college, this isn't just college for me this was my second home, But we have to go with time so I passed out and new juniors are admitted, wishing a great future for my college and teachers and juniors

Infrastructure I liked the architecture of the college, very good design and space for students and canteen is also good,some old rooms keeps the heritage form of the collage.

Faculty The department of English, Barasat College, has been consistently striving to deliver quality education to aspiring students and help them think big with English literature and language. Since the inception of the Department in 1988, the teachers, braving the lacks of infrastructure and resources, have remained committed to keep up the standard of teaching-learning. The Department offers both Honours and General Elective courses inEnglish and enjoys substantial enrollment every year. At present, two full time substantive teachers- Dr. Partha Pratim Dasgupta, MA.PhD(Associate Professor & Principal),Prof. Shirsendu Mondal, MA.(Assistant Professor),Prof..Sankha Shekhar Biswas( M.A.,B.Ed) and one State aided College Teacher- Prof. Mahua Das, MA.have been serving the department. Hostel I didn't stayed in the hostel for long, i stayed about 3 to 5 months in boys hostel,i have shared my room with mates, nice and managed rooms, although some boys damaged some parts of the hostel

Overall My experience from college dakho mast be very good I will try to my best as soon as possible kuch na kuch karne kaliya my mother trust me I am reaching
