One of the Best college of Banglore NMIT.

Overall: Overall the college is absolutely fantastic. It's a very good college in terms of placements and other activities but there is one problem that is about transportation there is no metro and no government buses we should travel through auto.

Placement: I chose Computer Science Engineering because of my strong interest in technology, software development, and how digital systems influence the world. NMIT was one of the reputed colleges offering good placement opportunities, a solid curriculum, and a peaceful learning environment in Bangalore.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure at NMIT Bangalore (200 Words): Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore, boasts a well-planned and green 23+ acre campus located in Yelahanka. The college offers a peaceful environment ideal for academic focus. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with modern teaching aids like projectors and smart boards. The central library is well-stocked with over 48,000 books, digital journals, and online learning platforms like IEEE, Springer, and NPTEL. NMIT houses advanced laboratories across departments including AI/ML, Robotics, Mechatronics, Aeronautics, and Civil Engineering. Research centres like the Centre for Mechatronics and Industry 4.0 support practical learning and innovation. The computer labs are modern, with high-speed internet and licensed software for student use. The campus includes separate hostels for boys and girls.

Faculty: The faculty at Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), Bangalore, are well-qualified, experienced, and highly research-oriented. Many professors hold PhDs from reputed institutes and have extensive industry and academic experience. Departments such as Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering are headed by senior professors actively involved in research and innovation. Faculty members have published numerous papers, hold patents, and participate in interdisciplinary projects supported by national and international bodies. NMIT also has dedicated research centers in AI, robotics, aerospace, and renewable energy where faculty guide students on real-world problems. Teaching is student-focused, with faculty encouraging practical learning, projects, and industry exposures.

Hostel: On-campus accommodation available for about 1,000 boys (across 4 hostels) and 500 girls (in 2 hostels), with twin-sharing and triple-sharing rooms . First-year students typically get twin-sharing. From second year onwards, boys may opt for triple-sharing or four-sharing rooms . Each room is furnished with a bed, study table, chair, wardrobe, and some rooms offer attached bathrooms or AC options . ---

Overall: They celebrate each and every festival. They also take students for practical visit. They vast collection of books in library we can also take books for 15 days. They have reference room also for studying purpose, in which we cannot take books home. All classrooms are having projectors and green board. We total three playing grounds one is for football, another for basketball and another for cricket. There are many clubs and we can join any of them but some of the clubs have eligibility criteria such as dance and photography club.

Placement: From third year students get eligibility for placements in campus. Many companies such as Amazon, zenken, Capgemini, Flipkart and others more than 300 companies visit every year for campus recruitment. Last year that is 2023 we had highest placement of 41.2 Ipa and average was 7.6 Ipa. They 92 percent of students getting placements. My plan is to become and web developer after my degree.

Infrastructure: Admission process was fully Handled by KΕΑ board. Cutoff for CSE was 7000 rank in KCET. I secured 5834 rank so got seat in the first round ↑ They asked my all necessary documents and it not very hard to submit. We had to submit it through the email. I got SNQ reservation so my fees was decreased from 96000 to 33000. One thing I didn't like is they started portions before the admission of third round completed.

Faculty: The campus life is vibrant with active clubs, fostering a strong sense of community. The annual fest, 'Harmony, and tech fest, 'TechVibe,' add excitement to the atmosphere, typically conducted in the month of March. The library offers a rich resource of books and journals, supporting academic pursuits. Classrooms are well-equipped with amenities for a conducive learning environment. The emphasis on sports is notable, contributing to a healthy lifestyle. Various extracurricular activities provide students with diverse options for personal development. Socially there are dynamic clubs promoting interaction ↑ among students. The campus also hosts a student- run website, enhancing communication and collaboration within the community

Hostel: Hostels are pretty good, they are clean and mostly hygenic, rooms are in good condition too. In mess, the food is okayish. They serve pretty good food during festivals or some event. The timings for hostels are equal for both boys and girls

Overall: The courses, such as mechanical engineering and electrical and electronics engineering, have the most well-qualified faculties available. Internship opportunities are provided from the 5th semester when I was in college, but now it starts from the 1st semester itself, which is so good to hear. In the third year, around 70.71 percent of students get placed, either through mass recruitment or by receiving a good package. Bank loans and ePasskar are good scholarships that every student can receive around 30000 if they apply for the ePasskar scholarship. Bank loans are accepted by colleges that provide support and assistance. In college, there were fests and the college will do the program excellently. In our college, the Anadyanta fest will be for 3 days and is held for college management. The college will encourage sports. The hostel facility is amazing; you will never feel like you are away from home. You always feel like you are at home. Our college is good, and I am satisfied with it. I got a very good college that has helped me a lot.

Placement: Companies like TCS, Wipro, Adobe, Wipro, Microsoft, Bosch, and Dell visit our college every year for placements. It's a good college to get a job, and even they will provide the placement classes with highly professional faculty members, and they will provide a study tool. There are no good companies coming for the mechanical branch, So, it's barely a rare probability if anyone finds a job.

Infrastructure: I can assure you that the college has all the facilities like gym, hostel, cafeteria, garden, auditorium, halls, and a game hub. The quality of food provided in the canteen is also good, and the campus is also very big. Quality of food is poor in hostel and the other facilities are good, Also a number of buses present for transportation across several routes.

Faculty: Compared to VTU, the course is far better, but still, I can't accept that course makes students industry-ready. The teaching faculty is qualified for the subjects they teach and they are not very helpful for those who are seriously struggling

Hostel: Hostel rooms are pretty decent but the mess food is very bad. So mostly students don't eat from mess.It is compulsory to pay for mess even if u don't eat
