PMIST Thanjavur PhD Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for the Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) program at PMIST Thanjavur require candidates to possess a Master's degree in a relevant field from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants must have obtained a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent CGPA in their qualifying examination. However, a relaxation of 5% is provided for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (non-creamy layer)/differently-abled categories. Candidates who have qualified in national-level examinations such as UGC-NET (including JRF)/CSIR-NET (including JRF)/SLET/GATE or have obtained M.Phil. degree are exempted from the entrance test but are required to appear for an interview.
