The year 2016 saw the founding of Punjab College of Law. In order for the average man to feel on par with the legal fraternity of the cities, the college's administration, or Sikh Educational Forum Tarn-Taran (SEFTT), took on the challenge of bringing legal education to the doorsteps of the general public. The GNDU granted affiliation and recognition after receiving the Clearance from the Punjabi government to open a law college.

A library containing bookcases and more than 15 million volumes by Indian and foreign writers. The library also includes volumes of the England Law Reporter, which students may use to update themselves on the most recent legal developments in other countries, in addition to Indian Law Reporters like AIR's and SCC. The administration has also made the campus Wi-Fi-ready in this way, and it has also acquired software that allows students to download the most recent High Court and Supreme Court rulings on hot-button matters. Punjab College of Law Eligibility

• Candidates for this programme must have completed the 10+2 Punjab School Education Board exam or any other test that the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar recognised as equivalent, with not less than 45% of the possible points. Candidates from SC/ST are given 40% of the total marks.
• English will be used as the language of instruction and examination.

Seats: 105 (to be filled by the University through centralised online counselling)

Management Quota: 15 Seats

Eligibility : 10+2 with a minimum grade of 45% in commerce, mathematics, or economics for general students and 40% for SC/ST students. English will be used as the instruction and examination medium.

Rules and Regulations of the Hostel

• The hostel's rules must be properly followed. A student who violates the rules may be punished with a fine or expulsion from the Institution. No fee refunds will be accepted.
• The admission of the student may be impacted by any rude or offensive language used in the workplace or written in a letter.
• The first to tenth of every month is the due date for the payment of the hostel fees for the various classes.
• For missed payments, a daily fee of Rs. 50 would be assessed.
• Students who fail to pay their hostel fees within two months of the due date risk having their names removed from the college rolls.
• By paying the re-admission fee and arrears, studentship may be reinstated.
• The Director may, in extraordinary circumstances, accept a request for an extension of the due date, which must be submitted before the due date has passed.
• The cost of housing is subject to change, and if this happens, both new and returning students will be affected.
• Even if the student leaves the hostel in the middle of a session, previously paid hostel dues are not refundable.
• The management has the authority to adjust mess dues in accordance with the going market costs for necessities.
