Pass in Shastri or any other equivalent examination recognized by Sansthan with Sanskrit as an elective subject.

Shastri or equivalent/ B.A. (10+2+3) with Sanskrit as main subject or Acharya / M.A. (Skt.) having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.
