The B.Ed course is designed for individuals who want to make a career in teaching and want to impart knowledge to students about various subjects. The course has a duration of two years and there are a lot of B.Ed specialisations offered in India. In order to get admission to the course, candidates need to complete graduation or postgraduation in any stream/ subject from a recognised institution with a score of minimum 50% marks. The admission to B.Ed course mostly depends upon qualification of any relevant B.Ed entrance exam such as Rajasthan PTET, AP EDCET, TS EDCET, Bihar B.Ed, UP B.Ed JEE etc. Various institutions offering the course include Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University, CCSU Meerut, Jamia Millia Islamia University, Jadavpur University, IGNOU etc however there are some colleges that offer direct admission as well such as Jaipur National University, Amity University, FIMT, Monad University etc.
