The Rajasthan Institute of Engineering and Technology Training and Placement Cell was formed with the aim to provide a stable and bright future for the graduates of the Institute after the completion of their courses. Since its inception, it has had an incredible and successful journey of providing placements to various students in many reputed companies. The Placement Cell provides assistance and motivation through training, workshops, and seminars. They help the students develop their communicative, comprehensive, and interpersonal social skills through group discussions, industrial visits, guest lectures, and regular academic activities. The training module they adopt is industry-specific and teaches students the importance of leadership qualities, social skills, and professional etiquette. 

RIET is known for having a good placement record and some very reputed national and multinational companies come for college placements and hire the best talent at RIET. Students are also able to perform well in the placements due to the Campus Recruitment Training Programme which helps students enhance their knowledge base, skills, speed, and accuracy.

The Placement Process involves various strategic activities structured around the students and their needs.   The Placement Cell has a couple of fulfilled objectives under the placement process. 

• To provide world-class infrastructure so that the students can develop their academic and career prospects in the best environment
• To provide training on industry-based guidelines so that they are industry-ready
• To identify the demands of the contemporary job industry and work to fulfill the demands 
• To keep the students updated on the latest opportunities and build strategies to help them get their dream jobs
• To test the aptitude and analytical abilities of the students and identify their strengths and weaknesses to work on improving them. 
• To invite as many companies as possible so that every student gets the optimum exposure and chance to land a placement 

The training and placement cell has adopted the VAK method that involves – Visual Learning, Auditory Learning, and Kinaesthetic Learning. In this regard, the Cell organises many activities like Group discussions, Mock interviews, and aptitude tests to help the students become the best versions of themselves.

The yearly placement rate for the Institution is 80%, and as of now, a total of 300+ companies and recruiters have visited the Institution. In 2019-2020, 97 + placement drives took place in the Institution.
