R.M.D. Engineering College Admission 2026 - Dates, Form, Online Process, Fees

R.M.D. Engineering College provides admission in engineering degree at both bachelor and master level which is provided by all the departments available at the campus. All the departments available at the campus has set up the total intake of all courses offered by them Once the admission notification is released, the college will announce the opening and closing dates for the application form. Candidates must hold a TNEA scorecard for being eligible for the selection as well as counselling round.

GATE scorecard is required for M.Tech program while if the candidates do not have GATE scorecard they must hold TANCET scorecard. Candidates have to fill the details mentioned in the application form followed by documents submission. All the candidates have to submit proof of the information mentioned in the application form including the 12th/ 10th percentage and ID Proof. The final selection will be done on the basis of criteria allocated by the R.M.D. Engineering College. Candidates may go through the detailed selection and admission process provided below. • Candidate must have cleared 12th from a recognised board with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as mandatory subjects.
• Applicants applying for the B.Tech program must apply via TNEA(Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions).
• Candidates must be a resident of Tamilnadu. 

R.M.D Engineering College Bachelor in Technology(B.Tech)(Lateral Entry) Eligibility Criteria

• Candidate must have cleared Diploma in Engineering / Technology exams conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates must be a resident of Tamilnadu. 

• Candidate must hold a graduation degree in technology with the relevant stream.
• Candidate must have passed 12th with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects.
• Candidate must have a GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) or TANCET(Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test) scorecard.
• Candidates must be a resident of Tamilnadu. 

R.M.D Engineering College Application Process

• Once the application notification is released, candidates may proceed to fill the application form.
• Collect the application form from the college
• Fill the mandatory fields mentioned in the application form.
• Attach the required documents as mentioned below:
• Scorecard of GATE/ TANCET.
• 12th and 10th mark sheet.
• Bachelor’s mark sheet(For admissions in master degree).
• Migration certificate. 
• Character certificate.
• Submit the final form after submitting the application fees.

• Candidates will be selected for admission on the basis of marks scored in the required entrance test.
• Students belonging from reserved categories will be offered reservation.
• Students will be classified on the basis of scores and performance.
• The final list containing the name of selected candidates will be declared on the official website.
