Rungta University fees include five main parts. The annual tuition fee is the main academic fee paid every year. The book bank fee is Rs. 1,000 per year for Engineering and Pharmacy students. The insurance fee is Rs. 300 per year for most courses and includes accident cover of Rs. 2 lakh for both the student and parent. PG programmes at Rungta University have fees starting from around Rs. 25,000 per year for PGDCA and going up to Rs. 3,00,000 per year for MBA – Global. Book bank fees are not included for most PG courses unless mentioned. An insurance fee of Rs. 300 per year and a one-time admission fee of Rs. 5,000 apply to all PG programmes.

Rungta University provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls on campus, along with an additional boys’ hostel outside the campus. Hostel fees are charged yearly and include both room rent and mess charges, which are compulsory. Students need to pay 50% of the hostel fee at the time of booking, and the remaining amount must be paid within 15 days after classes begin.

Mess charges are fixed at Rs. 40,000 per year for all hostel types. Only the room rent varies depending on the type of accommodation. The 6-seater option is available only in the boys’ hostel outside the campus, and 1-seater rooms are not included in the official fee structure.

All fee payments at Rungta University are made online only. Cash payments are not accepted, except in rare pre-approved cases. Here is the full payment process:

• Log in to the ERP portal — University students use the Digii portal. Students of affiliated institutions use the Collexo portal.
• Select the fee head — Choose the applicable fee type: tuition fee, hostel fee, or other charges.
• Choose a payment method — Net Banking, UPI, or Debit/Credit Card are accepted. All three are available through the portal.
• Enter payment details — Enter the required information and complete the transaction.
• Download the payment receipt — Always save the receipt after payment. It serves as proof for any future queries.
• Late fee applies from Day 11 — Fees must be paid within 10 days of the start of each semester/year. After that, INR 25 per day is charged as a late fee until the balance is cleared.
• For extensions — Students who need more time can apply for an extension, subject to a minimum 50% upfront payment. Extensions are not automatic and require approval.
• Scholarship/bank loan students — Pay the fee directly first. The university processes refunds within 15 days of receiving the scholarship/loan amount.
